Heinkels still after all these years don't drop at Human command over 2K

A true nightmare (for Pro-Bombers like my self :P) is the fact that Ais don't respond when ordered to drop their load over 2 K !! This ridiculous bug is going on for ever!!!!!!

Does that apply for Allied Bomber Ais as well?

Is there anyone out there that can fix this ?

Please?????????

ThankS! for your time

What's the deal?

Reds won numerous On-line campaigns because of this factor plus other unjust aspects of the game.

Isn't there anyone with integrity out there?

Hi Gaga

I requested a fix for this and also other Ai bugs including glider towing.

There are far too many bugs that need fixing rather than adding more content. The level bombing bug and getting the Ai bombers/wingmen to respond correctly should be a priority fix IMHO

The problem you have is the Ai will drop on the user commands if you have ground lock "triangle" on the intended target, but this is impossible in most instances due to settings of the server/host etc etc.

At last a voice of reason THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do other bombers? I've never put together a player based bomber campaign where the player may possibly be in control of a level bomber formation. What do other level bombers do? I guess we don't really have that many... Pe-2, Ju88, A-20C/G and B-25 are all strafers or dive bombers. G4M?

I never play Allied Side so i don't know .... JU & HE don't respond they just fly along with you and carry their load until the moment an A/C comes and shoots them down.

Extremely anoying .....

TB-3 also goes on that list.

I would also like to point out that bombers of all categories have their quirks. Currently I'm playing a Ju-87 campaign, and I am cruising with the formation at approx. 300 km/h. As the group approaches the target, the formation re-organizes from an echelon to single-file. This involves some planes slowing down. However, this happens instantaneously, and I find myself shooting past the formation and then scrambling to slow down and find my place again, in the midst of flak, enemy planes, etc. That and the incredible climb rate that the AI has (although I find I can always keep up in the horizontal) among other things make campaigns challenging in all the wrong aspects.

It's practically impossible to play the stock campaigns in the level bombers. He-111s are sent to do the impossible work of bombing trucks on a road, and the AI routines kill what little ounce of immersion remains.

Bombers are only good for targets it seems :/

I'm hoping that the guys doing IL2 1946 v4.10 are going to address the bombers AI and glider towing bugs also the Mistel bugs.

But I would hate to think they are only interested in Dog Fight server (non AI routines) addons in V4.10, I'm sure its not the case.
