HORI EX Flight controls. (HELP!!)

1 Attachment(s)
Hello chaps, I need some help here please, I've just purchased the Hori EX Xbox 360 model,to use with IL2 BOP on the xbox 360.
All the buttons & switches check out & function so I know the hardware is OK.
When playing IL2 I can get everything to work except the camera change function. ie I cannot change from 3rd person to cockpit while in play. Or when flying a bomber cannot change to gunner view.
Does anybody else use the Hori with IL2?
Any info would be most welcome.
Or will it be a case of waiting for this PATCH everyone wants ssoooo badly?
Cheers chaps!

How did you check that the button is actually working? Can you use it in a different game?
It is strange becuause i don't remember anyone else having this problem with their ace edge's. Its certainly not one of the things that the patch was ment to fix.

And, Oh Dear itz gaz, I'd like to see you try to switch to your bombers gun turrets by going though the option menus lol

hey hows that controller? i know the 360 is different from the ps3.. i might get a hori flightstick 2 *looks just like yours* from a friend for giving him a game and jus curious if its worth it.

button controls.

The target camera is controlled by a lower trigger on the flight-stick below the A (trigger) button. Pressing Y changes the target the camera follows.
If I remember correctly pressing Y on the joy-pad changes the view from cockpit-3rd person etc. So I guess I need to reconfigure the buttons, shame you can't on this game!
I can of course preset the view with the options setting & with fighters this is no problem, but try switching to options when your flying a B17 with 3 bandits shooting up your six & your bombing targets are looming!!
Does anyone on this forum use this flight stick with IL2 ???
The AV8Rwas great value but I broke it(rudder control) during the heat of battle!!:-P
