Don't make me delete another 3 pages of garbage.
Its holiday season and I have a plane to fill with tourists, don't be one of them. |

Sometimes the delete button speaks volumes, great stuff! There's loads more on the forum that could do with a run through the shredder, like the once we saw here - keep it up mod! There is no way these guys would speak to each other like that, if they were in the same room drinking from the same pot of coffee. |
Happy Holidays!!! Btw, do we still get credit for post count?;)
|
Aye I am messing around with fmb. im just feeling my way thought it and i have an idea for a great video. ill see if i can pull it off in a couple of days.
And fyi blaster.. i wouldnt worry too much about the post count. because the steaks knives you receive when you reach 300 aren't all great i already broke 2 of them. and i thought i was cheap. :) |

Bf-110 hosing down His Majesty's Wellingtons... - Yet another annotated video by me.
The Luftwaffle strikes again!
http://i2.ytimg.com/vi/Udn67mDw7mQ/default.jpg (Click image for vid) So far I haven't seen any other videos from the Rouen area, at the mouth of the Seine, so I thought I'd pay the place a visit... Gorgeous hills and a big, big city, the biggest on the continental side of the Channel, I think. There are also some quite intricate drainage channels and marsh-lands heading out towards Caen, the area is well worth a virtual gander. The Bf-110 is really one of my favourite planes in CoD, so that's why I am taking her up again. Not sure it would have been a favourite in real life, flying in the BoB, but that is another story... :) So, why is it a favourite? - Of course it is those huge cannons. Damn' they're satisfying to shoot with! - Quite a thrill to see the damage that can be dealt out with them. They're not easy to hit a target with, but when they hit true... Oh boy. Nice. :D Anyway, enjoy. Comments always very welcome! ---------- Here are my previous CoD movies: http://www.youtube.com/user/wwwDOTda...1CBC682E928D2A http://i4.ytimg.com/vi/G90yZNZtU_I/default.jpghttp://i4.ytimg.com/vi/wZLZiYGiCds/default.jpghttp://i4.ytimg.com/vi/s73zSerW6-Y/default.jpghttp://i1.ytimg.com/vi/xv4NBoj7Afg/default.jpghttp://i1.ytimg.com/vi/04atCxtxVug/default.jpghttp://i2.ytimg.com/vi/5YY88tx9xWg/default.jpg http://i2.ytimg.com/vi/9b6o-bIWZJk/default.jpghttp://i1.ytimg.com/vi/PlbP0KbJxgk/default.jpghttp://i2.ytimg.com/vi/mKZsvTPEl3s/default.jpg (Click images for vids) |
Thanks Freycinet. It's what I come to this website for.
Rouen does look great. Are you tempted to bomb it with a Blenheim? |
When I buy this game Freycinet I am going to demand that 1C send you a royalty check since your videos are the thing which have me hooked on the idea of upgrading so i can run it.
New patch looks great by the way. Looks like things are starting to come together. Is saturation configurable at all in the game? |
thanks for keeping us entertained while I'm waiting for the gold release of CLoD in North America!
|
thanks for posting.
whats funny is though the game is bugged, here is a silver lining. Everyone that posts a whine / troll / negative thread should come here and watch. Oh wait, they'll just get even more mad because they spent 3K more on a system than Freycinet, have one of the top IT support teams in the country and have Win7 Uber edition, but for some reason the game doesn't work for them. And the fix is something easily overlooked, like attitude check. wait altitude check. ANycase, awesome videos |
thank you, freycinet.
|
nice videos mate, they 'do' get better and better
|
Well Done !!!
Always interesting. Always informative. Professional. Much Appreciated ! Thank You |
Very nice Video again! It shows the Potential of the CoD-Engine, such Clips are a perfect Promotion for this to early published, beta-staged Sim.
BTW: I like the funny Dialogs in your Videos. ;^) Peter |

really nice vid like all the other ;)
|
Thanks so much for all your comments, they're the only reason why I post these vids!
If any of you have ideas for future set-ups, don't hesitate... :) |
Great stuff!
If you ever fly online, you could try to do a formation flying video with all humans. I'm sure it'd be interesting! :) On bombers, of course! :) |

I love these vids too...I show them to my mates to justify my passion for this game.
I agree with Anvilfolk, wouldn't mind seeing a formation vid, maybe a low level formation flight up the Thames from South End to London??? :-P |

a nice feature is the releaod of the canons when one of their three 60round drums is empty :) wondering if the gunner is than shooting :D |

The lads were over last Friday [they'd put up with years of loud IL2 German/Russian radio chatter back in the Uni days of 2001]...showed them your Stuka vid, they were gobsmacked. Two of them are semi-proffesional SLR photographers [and anti-gamers], and they were all over that video like a tramp on hot chips. One of the other lads is gonna help me source a rig similar to yours...for next to nothing, and he's going to set his rig up too, having never even been involved in IL2. So keep those vids coming...some of the best advertising for this sim yet ;) *sucking-up mode off* |
Ooohhhhhhhhoooooohhhhhhhooooohhhhhhh!
Not heard the Wall for ages. |

It works now! Cool video.

Out of interest, did you use the track editor, or did you have to frap it 'on the fly'? I can't get track editor to work properly at all. |

I used AB to record this. My copy of Fraps isn't working for me after the last update. But AB works fine. And I use sony vegas movie studio for editing. |
What, I'm not allowed to have my own thread for a video I make? Who moved this? I don't like that at all.
I guess I'll just stop posting my vids in this forum or stop making them altogether. Do the 1C people actually not like that I make CoD videos? - I'm so sorry if I bothered them by making a little bit of PR for their sim. I sort of thought it could use it. |

A sticky was made of the thread called "vids" to put ALL vids in one place instead of scattered all over the forum so it keeps them together for future reference. Your thread was 3 days old falling through page one so I put it in here with the rest of the vids to save it getting lost. It will be seen more in here than on page 4-5-6 of the forum. Quote:
|
I would rather that you allow me to have my own thread, I like to get replies to just my vid, not mixed with others. So if you don't mind I'll just post my own threads in the future.
|
In just a few minutes I'll create a topic about benchmarks with videos. Please don't move this topic here.
By the way, the problem in this forum isn't a lot of video topics... videos are useful. Either is "prophanity"... The problem is a bunch of people that can't run the sim "like they want" and flood this forum with nonsense and negative posts. Thanks! |
Alpha, without sounding rude, please don't get power hungry. A forum is a microcsm, but keep it liberal, and understand that the feelings of the majority usually outweight the feelings of the minority (in this case, the one: you).
I liked having Frey's videos in one thread, as having every-video here will just swamp the thread. A link could always be posted here, but it seems nonsensical to be so authoritarian. A lot of people enjoy posting here, and some like to have their own topic. Where's the harm in that? |
Can I suggest that the more prolific video makers be allowed to have one thread in which to post all their work? Similar to the "Skins by ____" threads. I can understand that opening a new thread for every new video isn't so great an idea, but neither is dropping every single video-related post into this 85-page (and counting!) unsearchable monster of a thread.
It seems a good compromise, to my mind. |
I have an idea! One sticky sub thread where to post videos and leave this as the discussion. Just post the link in here of the post. Or if you just want videos without all the dribble just go straight into the video sub forum in here. Simple!
|
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And leaving things be 'ain't broke'.

Ok, here's my first attempt at a video. Never uploaded anything to Youtube before. I just got MSI Afterburner beta today and started playing around with it. It hurts to watch how many bad mistakes I made here. I think that's the worst damaged aircraft I've yet landed in this game. |

people, please be careful of the copyrights...in the last 4 videos in this thread, only one is visible in North America...

My second video, Calais Rooftops. I recorded and uploaded this one at my monitor's native resolution of 1680x1050, so I was hoping it would be Youtube-ized to 720p. Unfortunately, Youtube decided it needs to be only 480p. I guess this is actually good news, because now I know to record at half-size, which will allow better quality videos in the long run. Half-size vids aren't as demanding on my system, so I can leave the eye candy on higher settings. Maybe they won't take six hours to upload anymore. I think I like making gameplay videos. Now I need to educate myself some more about the best way to do it. Get more practice. Edit: Ok, several hours later the video is now available at 720p even though I did nothing different. I have no idea why, but I like it! |
Crack Shots, a peachy landing and don't those yellow prop tips look the part?
Thanks for the vid White Owl. |

New vid by me here: http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthr...136#post306136

Amazing videos ! Amazing sim !

Does it come back out too ?

A tunnel weapon.

This is weird..Did someone post up a nice video comparing the Spitfire pilot to the 109 pilot in COD? I saw it about an hour ago but now I've had a brain fart and can't remember where it was. Anyone else see it?

Short video with textures set to "medium". No more stutters even recording with FRAPS and some other settings up. Very happy now with performance until more optimization regards texture streaming/size are delivered!

Really good video. I wish I had the time to learn to control the cameras as well as you do. But, what is there about the background music that makes it appropriate to the action? I would much rather hear the engine and gun sounds.

The crap soundtrack is just because in recorded tracks the engine behaviour is erratic - RPM goes crazy (look at the propeller). The music make things less strange! :-) |
I tried to make it a little brighter.

Superb movie. Question: Are you "Barfly"? |
Awesome video :D
|
A work of art..truly sensational!
|
Fantastic vids, we want more of them.
Very good work from Tinus and JokkerFX. ;) |
Jokker/Barfly, best CoD video I have seen yet, heads and shoulders above the rest!
|
The “Battle of Britain-The Day Before Adlertag” movie produced by “Barfly/Jokerxx” has been selected for showcasing at the Flight Sim Movies website where the Best of the Best FlightSim movies are presented and celebrated. It is hoped that in the very near future many great stories of the Battle of Britain will be told in movies created using COD.
Congratulations Barfly!!! P.S. Barfly's "Battle of Britain V2.0" was also recognized and placed at FSM in November 2009. |
JokkerFX/Barfly absolutely enthralling video, fantastic editing and great choice of music, don't tell us that was a first attempt I'll shoot myself now!
|
Bravo! Excellent!!! Very thrilling!
|
@Jokker/Barfly Absolute stunning! Keep up! More of that stuff!

Thanks you again and FSM community and all CoD fans - and right, I'm the same guy who once make also a few IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 + mods short films in YouTube, as you has already been guessed. Hope so also CoD team is able to correct some graphics problems - I mean, mainly primary shadow effect flicker problems. But anyway big thanks of course also CoD devoloper team (patches have come at a good pace). I waiting this great new sim long time, like many others il-2 series fans to here. Yes, I make more CoD / BoB short film fun in near future. And if someone want to see also the orginal video (better full HD quality) so this can download it here. http://www.gamefront.com/files/20537254/CoD_1080.rar File size: 437 MB Video format: MPEG-4 (.mp4) Resolution: 1920x1080 (full HD) |
JokkerFX- that is simply stunning, easily the best i've seen anyone make yet from CoD.
You have talent! |
Stunning video. Absolutely brilliant :)
