Yes, sure, as written above. ;) Was always the first thing I did, after installation. But that did interest my ATI at all, but HL did the trick for me.

i've tried to join a ded server via HL but i keep getting timedout while i can join without any problem via in-game multiplayer server browser.
Anyone knows how to fix this ?

Try turning off steamcloud, this should fix the time outs

Has something changed in the beta? I only see two servers up now, yet when I log in to the game Client interface there are many more up.

Has ATAG stopped using HL?

I only see IIIJG27 and Escuadron_69, and no one in the lobby or in game?

dont know why nobody has been using it. from what i have read in previous post hyperlobby boost fps somehow.would be nice to see more pilots there.It would also be so much easier to discuss and compare game settings since the game offers no lobby.Worked great for Il2.

We are currently not using HL due to a bug with the official patch. It seems like you get more than 50 players on a server now and the dedicated server becomes unresponsive. Chat messages / kill messages are for w/e reason getting delayed now after so many players. For instance, you can chat to yourself, and you won't see it show up in game while this is happening.

I don't know if this is a coincidence or not, but the server browser used to show all the servers in less than a second. Now it seems, searching in game, that it takes several seconds for the browser list to show up. So, by process of elimination, we are trying to see if HL (for w/e reason) is aiding to cause this problem. I highly doubt it, but it's worth a shot.

The steam browser showing # of players in my sig has never faulted EVER before the official patch. Now it can get stuck on a certain number of players for hours on end (not updating). I'd have to think the 2 are related somehow. We could have 75 players before, and granted there would be stutters with regards to spawning etc, you could always read and see the chat. Now the chat will just flat out stop, as if the data is bottle necked at some point. And when enough people have left the server, or enough time has past, all the sudden the server will catch up again and show messages.

And this has nothing to do with the server hardware peaking etc., there's definitely a new found fault in the game and I believe the problems with something as simple as the browser thingy in my sig are all related the major problem.

It's very frustrating to say the least. We should have 100+ players on there with no problems (albeit the same one's the game has had for a long time.)

Ah I didn't realize steam has updated a few times as I've been away. Maybe it's sorted now?
