Well I hope it will be included now the 109 has had a bit of love....whatever the reason for not doing anything to the Spit (though it may be coming) sometimes I wonder why they should if they think it's right...we have the II in game which operates as it should, this should now be included in servers, I'm pretty certain there will be a big imbalance in servers now..

It would be really sad if not

Well after my previous moan it appears to be the weathering layer thats been fixed affecting the skin shine, which will need some work as far as skinning is concerned, where it really does shine (pun intended) is the bare metal effect is stunning, load up a Hurricane in QMB, whack the weathering right up and take an external look at just behind the spinner, how long before we get a bare metal skin to work with :)

Sounds to me like not one of my top 4 priority items has been fixed. We'll see when it's released on friday. I hope they don't break my game further then they did last time. I still can't play since last patch when my game was running flawless on max settings before last patch.

Can anyone report? The following problems came out of nowhere when last patch was released.:

AA broken since last patch fixed?
Stutters from last patch fixed?
FPS drop from last patch fixed?
MP Sound bug fixed?

I'de be happy if these were the only items fixed this patch since my buddy and I with the same rig could atleast play again. (same rig, same problems, same lack of a game to play).

Thanks,
Gollum

Well, if that becomes a proven fact for everyone else... I will dump crappy AMD and grab a new Nvidia card!!!

On high settings I get between 1 to 20 FPS over London with AA off.

* Sound. This is probably the biggest issue we're facing. We're taking a very drastic approach to the issue and pretty much redoing our sound from scratch. This means you won't see the new sound for a few more months.
* FPS. The final remaining performance issues, which fortunately are comparatively minor, lie very deep in the engine, and require us to do a significant amount of work. Probably at least 2 months of it.
* Online stability, more anti-cheating controls, and server and aircraft SDK - also a few months out. Dedicated Server SDK and documentation is probably going to be done the quickest.

Isnt it really nice to see somthing positive. im really really happy today with this patch & reactions. I hope everyone can see the light at the end of the tunnel that i can (it even has Bloom lol). Each patch really will draw us closer to that now. The appropriate extra content may start to flow through now the overall stability is improving. However They still need our patience folks, lets not get in a tizzy again, its coming along nicely !!!

I would love to feel like that but then i went in an MP server and my sound had cut out even before my engine had warmed up

I remember this post but was hoping Stutters, FPS drop, and AA were not considered "minor" when they render the game unplayable. And I don't mean prissy "oh this isn't perfect so I'm not playing" unplayable. I mean, the game doesn't work unplayable.

Thanks for the reply though. I guess I'll be waiting months to play the game again.:(
