Well in your defense, depending on what altitude your flying (and given the typical altitudes you fly at), a little panic might be in order, especially when your looking at an empty oxygen gauge! LOL

although if the aircraft had only been hit a few seconds ago, like someone pointed out, then maybe edit-1 is the best :D Still when the shot is edited like you have done it makes a lot of difference :D

About the fps: it most likely will be very similar to ROF, wich is fine for me.

Bravo for the job, but your edits look cartoonish and unrealistic, especially the first one. I suggest to take a look at guncams such as the famous one here

Maybe they'd look a little better if there was a transition to the full smoke effect from something like a puffy explosion or a gradual opacity increase?
