this patch has to come out right this time; rushing will do more harm than good, so 2 more weeks after this wait is rather bearable IMO

B6 i know that the beta hhave some problems but you can publish the beta with the graphic problem, because now the ctd problem is so ....

Id prefer some problem in graphic that ctd problem and think that lot people think the same. i think that publish can be a good alternative whiile we are waiting

Okay, no point releasing something that doesn't work but what I don't understand is how it can change so rapidly from 'testing going well, hope to release this week' to a beta test failure obviously so serious as to warrant a rewrite of the patch ?.

PS. according to sukhoi the issue is "new graphical artefacts'. Good it is not CTD or dramatic FPS drop or stutters :)

Thank you.

I know everyone is in a hurry to get the patch, I am too, but it makes no sense for them to release it with "known" issues. A beta patch is to be released so we can help find "unknown" issues. If they have known problems why wouldnt they fix them before they release to so we can focus on finding other things they missed or cant be caught internally...

B6 and group, stay on target, you have the right idea!

It's one of those cases where Murphy intervenes, excrement hits the rotary atmosphere agitator and such things.

Aka sh*t happens :P

Well I suppose the better it is when I next play CloD, the more likely I'll be to play it again. As it is, I don't.

Thanks for the update, a bit more information'd be nice B6 if you can get some out of those who know.

Oh man...had me going that's for sure.
Regardless thanks for the consistent updates.

The preferred method would have to be NOT replacing the entire graphics engine in a game that is already released, as this isnt how things should be done, but in this case have to be done, we have to understand that things will not happen as they should.

We are all frustrated... I am sure the Dev team is as well... they want to make new games and continue on into the future... spinning their wheels on an already released game cant be fun for anyone...
