Love the difference in ambient lighting.

The shots of the 110's capture the late summer evening look perfectly, compared to the more middle of the day shots in bright sunshine.

I can almost smell the difference. :)

so are these shots still made on a low-end pc? because it looks pretty :mad: awesome for low quality, and don't even let me dream on about how good it will look on a high end pc!

Still people, don't forget that 'PROBABLY' next week there is going to be a press release, don't get your hopes up just yet.

I think when the publisher announces a release date then that's it isn't it?

I feel sorry for Oleg being put in an awkward position by these rumours and I hope he knows that we know none of this is in his hands or his fault.

Yes I hope we have some people to sit in the vehicles, as we know - when you make a flightsim you are really making a 'world sim' and it will look silly if there are no people anywhere, i'm sure IL2COD will have everything and more that IL2 had, and as IL2 had people then COD will have them and better.... i'm hoping this will be one of Oleg's surprises in a week or 2.

So it sounds like IL2COD will be released a week or so after Shogan Total war2 and the same week as Crysis2 and Assassins creed Brotherhood and Sims 3 medieval....a nice way to be over shadowed and over looked by the gaming press and other gamers who might have given COD a try....stupid !


My advice is to bring the release date forward to Feb !!

ps - what's the release date?

It is up to the publisher to make the release announcement. If Ubisoft is the company making the annoucement next week they will be very carefull with the date, especially after their 2006 announcement. I doubt they will decide to suspend SOW and carry on making addons for IL-2 this time. ;)

Maddox games has been working very hard on implementing realistic humans into the sim. We don't when they will make an appearance other than the pilots and vehicle drivers. If they don't make the initial release I'm sure they will be implemented in future addons.

No one knows the exact release date. I'm sure even Oleg and publishers are wrestling with that as we speak. BUT a spring release is a great possibility.
