Well, the calendar should be distributed in other regions, it was definitely planned not only for Russia.

Really I could have sworn that someone mentioned on this forum that the calendar might not be in the CE in other countries!!!

Yup, that's what I read too, and the calendar is not mentionned on Ubi' CEs

That would be nice to have it

Well, there are not many things to map on the water and I don´t think you are going to use the cloth map to plot your mission´s route over the water, are you?

I agree that I would have preferred a map without a gigantic logo, but if they were going to put the loge there anyway, better over the water where they dont cover any landmark.

If the logo is also on the PDF/software version of the map and you are going to get a print of the map to plot your missions on, it is quite easy to get rid of that with basic photoshop knoledge.

Maybe because we are older than 12 years old?

I'm not against glamour, I just think it cheapens and makes the finished product look TACKY.

So all of you that are talking PC bullshit wind your little red necks in and go and ask mommies permission to look at the so called "glamour" photographs.

Leave the Flight Sims to adults.

LAST WORD ON THIS REALLY TACKY PRODUCTION.

Look buddy, the freaking calendar is "inspired" in the artwork and aviation philosophy of that WWII time. If you can not understand that, and you stick to the ultra-politically-correct-nonsense of today, then why do you play a game based on a WAR in which millions of people died????

What kind of hypocrit complains about not-even-naked ladies and has fun playing how to kill people??

Believe me, until not much long ago (and in a lot of countries you can find it still today), the walls of fighter squadrons rooms have been covered with pictures of ladies with far less clothes than the ones on this "tacky" calendar.

I think you mix up tacky with the term politically correct. Nevertheless he is entitled to his own opinion. I understand his point of view about the tackiness-level. But i agree with the others that it's just part of a bygone era. However i don't agree with you.

Now let's continue too drool and kwool over this amazing game which wil be relinguished by its creators in a matter of hours.

Hey, If any Russians and/or 'Adults' don't want their pin-up calendar, then you can donate it to me!

Seriously though, if it's not in our CE packs, how do we get hold of a copy?

BobTuck.

Exactly about what you don´t agree with me?
Of course everybody is entitled to have and support his/her (to be politically correct) own opinion.
And maybe I understood it wrong, but what 123-wulf-123 was saying is that to offer that calendar with pinup girls was not appropriate for a 21st century product.
And that is where my point about hypocresy fits right in. Is it more appropiate to play a game in which you kill people?
Take note that i am merely playing devils advocate here, since I have already bought and I will joyfully play (I hope) COD.
COD is an adult product, and if I can take as an adult to play to shoot down airplanes, bomb the sh** out of cities, be a nazi... then I can also take as an adult some "vintage-looking WWII-fashion pinup calendar".
BIG POINT IS that the calendar is not about the ladies, IT IS ABOUT THE 40´S STYLE.

I could get to agree (actually I don´t) that the products (calendar and sim) don´t fit together, but INAPROPRIATE??? Come on...

Well, hopefully some of that money will go to the right place. That is my main reasoning for supporting the boxed edition. And as a general show of appreciation.
