Some encouraging stuff, and the tracers look fine from where I am standing. :) Getting a little more excited about it now......Oleg can you give us any more info on how Chain home-chain home low radar and German Freya system will be implemented exactly, and in how much detail?

I know we are not getting a 'dynamic' campaign on first release, but what I would like to know is if eventually the 'battle of the beams' will be simulated at least in some rudimentary way? IE the possibility of German Radio navigation and Freya radar being 'spoofed' by British countermeasures like 'Mandrel' and 'Moonshine' etc.

German radio navigation was very effective early on (particulary raids like Coventry etc) but was eventually effectively thwarted and countered by various means. There are verifiable accounts of German bomber crews actually landing on British airfields hopelessly lost after British signal jamming, as many were not trained in other navigation methods and some thought they were actually landing in friendly territory! *You're nicked, son!*

I think this aspect of the war would be great to expand upon and would add a very interesting tactical element, we already have the Boulton defiants for 'Mandrel' in particular. Of course later in the war there is the 'night fighter' element too, with the consequent ECM battle that involved.

First things first of course. :)

Thanks.

As usual, amazing, but will I can use my Freetrack setup to look around all this glorious rendered sky, planes, and ground?

Like I said, it looks more like the editors took 30fps output from the in-game track recorder and slowed it down for effect, essentially dropping frames. It's the only thing that really detracts from their efforts really as the other aspects are pretty decent.

very nice, but the AAA-gun at 1:30 in the 1st video clip should be manned by a crew.

Thanks for keeping us informed. And please be aware, if it is delayed for whatever reason, most of us understand that some things are beyond your control, although there will be threads whining that it's unacceptable etc.

Hold on. We saw details of the POSTERS on bollards at train stations in London, we saw the WEEDS in the Thames blowing in the wind, to say nothing of the amazingly impressive aircraft and THAT is your comment?!

You suck. It's official. Ban me if needed but this guy is out of line.

Simply brilliant. The amount and the attention to details is just staggering. Can't wait to get my hands on the game :)
That Stuka attack in slow motion gave me a small orgasm :P

AWESOME!! A couple of 109's from the first video could be from 5./JG27:grin:!

If that did not convince people who are in doubt, I don't know anymore :P

Oleg Maddox 'the CODfather'.

This looks amazing! I'm loving the footage of the bf109 vs the Spit.

Fantastic video, exactly what I was hoping to see! The bomb release close-ups were just fabulous!

I wonder if the clock ticks in the trainstation? ;-)

About the release dates though: Nike-IT said today that he checked from Ubi that it would be 31st March? I wonder which one of you is right? Not that it would matter to me week here or week there, but as I plan to make sure I've got vacation after the release date I'd like to make sure I don't sit here empty handed with my new rig.
