FPS SanFrancisco Fix

If you open the game by right clicking and starting by "administrator", it will run wide open on the FPS through San Francisco up 101.

Nice, but when you tell us something like that it would be good to know which hardware you use...

After I activated "Executing as administrator" on the game shortcut and overclocked my CPU to 2.75 GHz nearly everything runs great, on some places the FPS drops down a bit but it's playable without problems (But I wasn't able to try out the critical 101 place yet.).
On the other hand the game sometimes closes itself without any reason now... oO

Someone some time ago reported this problem when over-clocking your CPU. It takes something away from the CPU core allocations, and causes your system to freeze up, or kicks you out of Ring'n'Roll.

Just out of curiosity, could anyone here that plays RnR and continually gets over 30 fps on max settings post their PC specs here please? I'm thinking about upgrading, although going off to college in a year might not be worth it.

I get FPS in the 20s and then teens when it comes to driving through the Bay Bridge area in San Francisco.

My Spec's are
-Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @2.4gHz
-6GB RAM
-NVidia GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512mb GDDR3 memory
-Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit OS

Thanks!

Just to let you know. You have passed the minimum specs by MILES.

I get 15 FPS with.
Intel Pentium dual-core 1.8ghz
Nvidia9500GT 512MB
4GB RAM
Vista basic. Apart from the CPU SPEED. I passed everything.

It says even a pentium 4 2.4 ghz could run it?!:-x

Just upgrade your 2.4GHz for greater playability (this is minimal for the game). Many that report problems fall into this category. Otherwise you're good to go.
