I'm using 306 and having no trouble with this or any other game.

ummmm....that would be a kick in the groin but it wouldn't surprise me.

Everything on uber high, vsync on application settings and nvidia custom set 16x AF 4xAA 4xSuperSample

2xGTX580

Enabled Aero desktop theme for vsync to work correctly.

The hotfix does appear to give some people a significant increase in frame rates, so it must do more than just allow people to start the game with SLI enabled. That said I think we will have to wait for further work from the devs and an Nvidia driver with COD SLI support.

I think it has something to do with SLI. But i hope its the lacking profile that still keeps from using SLI.
My Summary:

SLI works and gives good performancegain with AFR2 enabled.

SLI Produces INSANE visual tearing.

Visual tearing appears WITH (AFR2) or WITHOUT (FORCE SINGLE) SLI being activated in a manual set up profile.
In order to avoid visual tearing i have to deactivate SLI in the driver itself.

The selected Vsync setting in driverprofile DOES affect Framerate. Thus i get over 100 frames and tearing with AFR2 on and Vsync OFF and 60 Frames with AFR2 on and VSync ON.

Another thing i noted is that clod no longer stretches the picture the the monitorsize. When running 2560x1600 native monitor resolution i get black borders on all sides of the picture when i run the game in 1920x1200 resolution fullscreen set to ON.
So i have to lower desktopresolution to match ingameresolution if i want to avoud playing on something that looks like a postage stamp:P

Single GPU performance is OK.

PS: Oh and the driver i am using is the newest 306.63

Thats interesting. Somewhere some how our configuration are different. It would be good to know where. I get no tearing at all, with or without SLI enabled.

1. Try turning vsync to application controlled and allow the game to handle it.
2. If you are running windows 7 turn your aero desktop theme back on.
3. My settings is adaptive vsync enabled in global but allow application controlled in profile.

About your performance, is that related to the track black death ? If not I can also achieve those frame rates but it does not differ enough between single and SLI. In SLI each card load is balanced but only using ~50% or less of each card.

As for some peoples beliefs on blaming Nvidia for not supporting it properly in their drivers, I have to disagree. Given the history of this game and its current condition and Nvidia's available documents and SDKs for adopting SLI gives me the clear answer who's problem it is.

Something is wrong with your isntall.

delete the cache
steam version + rc + hot fix

deleting cache did not work BUT

after reinstalling clod+rc+hotfix glitch is gone, with or without SLI enabled BUT:

SLI does not work for me. with AFR1 GPU1 load is normal (as in single gpu) and GPU0 load is 0%

AFR2 GPU load is evenly distributed between both GPUs BUT I get terrible stutters and erratic FPS.

Bottom line is that game still runs better single GPU on my rig

I hope nvidia deliver to us the proper profile with their next drivers

Sorry but the spitfire MKIa does still have his problem when you put his throttle to zero! the engine stall and stop! and If it was not corrected the Spitfire MKIa 100octane and MKII have the same problem.

Otherwise this is a nice patch that does not apply to the npc planes that start on the ground with their engine not started! Every time I hear them in the radio “I did lose my engine” and I am sorry for them.

My SLI does works, Thank you!

:-P
