Hi all,

In my experience of both simulation and real life flying, Cliffs of Dover outranks all.

And by far.

Best Regards,
MB_Avro.

I have a little real flying experience and lots of flight sim experience, but I do think IL2 CoD will eventually pan out to be one of the best flight sims of all time, its almost there IMHO and I have high hopes for the forthcoming patch.

Muchos gracias also,

England is not conected either physically or mentally to Europe. We are an Island race. The Germans in secret call us Island Monkeys. ( "Inselaffe"). The French probably have something else to call us

Best Regards,
MB_Avro.

Long live England

I tried building a simple mission today. Just a red HB & 2 blue enemy Ai flights & no scripts, but every time I ran it in FMB I got a CTD. This is simply unacceptable for a professonaly produced computer game.

I'm of the same opinion as FI=Scott. We've heard urges for patience, and phases like 'we're working on it' or 'we're nearly there' for over 6 months now. I fear that the next patch (if it comes before BOM), will offer a small improvement in fps for some in the community but not address many of the critical bugs in the game. Anyone noticed how we get pics & info of BOM, but NO information on any of the critcal (non graphical) bugs in COD being fixed?

Quite frankly, (1) the next patch needs to improve gameplay to the extent that it re-engages public interest in the game, & (2) BOM would have to be exceptionally 'clean' & work well right from the start, otherwise IMO the COD franchise is dead.
