Good thing you posted that thread, because all of those SIX (6) users that left the stage did so without actually being specific about anything other than their rage.

Because all of them quit cuz of this particular thread, right?

Ok

Lets cool off a little please.

Its been a rough ride here for the last few days.

Agree to disagree and move on, the discussion can continue in a progressive manner then.

The amount of reported posts in these "few" threads of late has been extremely high.

Thanks.

Thanks KG.

Look guys its quite simple, everyone feels the same, everyone IS frustrated at the lack of game we paid for, everyone IS hoping for a great game in the future.
Not everyones virtues include patience, I'll be the first to admit I struggle with it at times.
But the real truth is simply this:
I dont know how many of you are married with children etc or how many of you are children yourselves, but I have children and if I heard them being spoken to or about the way some here think its ok to do about others.
I would have a real problem with it.
So maybe some should think of it in that way, how would you feel if someone spoke to you in that way or your children?

I'm not trying to be holier than thou, I'm just saying that we should leave the world outside in the world, and keep this a place were people can come together with the same passions, namely aviation, in a place where we can agree and dissagree without all the nastiness or bullying.

Oh the irony LOL

What percentage of your posts would you say are less than a complete sentence? This is the problem. People just want to get their jabs in, instead of actually explaining what they are talking about, or where they are coming from.

The thread that I posted before about the 109 sight is indeed a good example of the regulars, posting like ignorant old codgers, and in doing that showing newer member that they should follow suit as well. It results in the useless comments getting out of control and overshadowing and drowning out the useful ones.

Exactly, you rarely see these same "people" talking about anything actual game related in threads that they've created themselves, it's all about jumping in threads and proving how wrong someone is even when someone isn't wrong. Like I've mentioned before these "people" don't care about the game at all, some of them have over a thousand posts but have less than 10 game related threads that they have made themselves. The best way to get rid of them is to simply stop replying to them even if you really really want to. Stop responding to them and they will slowly fade away since they rarely contribute to anything on their own, just like parasites they are nothing without a host.:)

Keep it clean, have a discussion, show a little respect to each other. Its not difficult really.
This is not a kindergarten, and baiting each other might have consequences.

Even more effective method would be stopping posting the same old whiner bs. I guarantee no fanboy would ever attack him. :D

Would this be a bad time to point out that I never posted in that thread? ;)

Eitherway I still don't see how that thread has anything to do with the topic at hand, but since you failed to address my last post stating my point of view on that I don't expect this post will get any traction either

I don't remember the poster who publicly displayed those forum members he has on his ignore list but it's a good way to go. Maybe not letting the world know who you have on ignore, but the act of ignoring those who offend you. I have several posters on ignore. I'm sure I've pissed off someone somewhere along the way too so that I'm on someone's ignore list.

There's plenty of blame for this forums downward spiral. On both sides of the argument. I'm no expert, but based on their argumentative skills, I doubt most of the main players from either camp ever excelled at debate.
