I went to your Deviant Art link and have to say the work there is really impressive. The 110 (shark mouth) is absolutely stunning.

I looked at your work and it shows that you create some of the images with a 3D package too? Is that correct?

I'm only asking as the transition from the Cliffs of Dover images to the one's on your page are almost of 3D render quality rather than updated Clod images?

Could you explain ( I know you say on one link "a little bit of magic") what the process is that you go through to get to the final render? The image of the WW1 fighter "before" and "after" is a point in case. The two images look the same, but the texture and lighting is almost like you painted over the original.

I'd be very interested to know how the updated version was achieved? Is it in the 3D package?

Either way, outstanding work. Cheers, MP

Mysticpuma @

Well the people post one of my videos ,one way is the one on the video,Matte-painting technique and digital painting together,a nice winning combination. Some times i am taking the photo of a simulator as a "shadow" and i am painting above...thats hard and not my preferred method but you are learning a lot and the results most of the time are great like the Vulcan i paint here http://roen911.deviantart.com/art/Av...=17....another way is the 3D method

here are some textures i made and WIP images of a spitfire i was working before some months,

Here is Finished and free for download

http://i50.tinypic.com/10e27nl.jpg

and here is a F6F hellcat 3D model i am making ,

To get results to look Like 3D on a 2D image or a picture of a model just needs a lot of time and good "eye" just a lot of practise :P

Here is another older video i made but with pictures

Hi, all:

I bought this from a buddy who was getting married and had to divest of a few "toys." It is number 1 of 750, is signed by the artist and has 21 signatures from former Eagle Squadron pilots. Sorry the photos aren't better!

Hi rOEN
Here is something I did with Gimp and CloD.
I Made the Me-110 skin and added the wake to the side and rear of the ship and removed the
default white waves from the sea.
Not in your league I know but we have to start somewhere:-P
My attempt is on the Left
