Thank so much for this christmas gift!!!

One naive question: is it possible take out the cheating to prevent people to warp miles away into the orbit when they are being shot at?

Thats not a cheat, thats a bad connection to the server.

As has already been stated, make sure to back up your 4.08 files as there is not yet dedicated server software and you won't be able to fly online with the 4.09 version until there is.

Slovakia maps are good, MTO and the rest is a desapointement again..

They forgot to actually to take off some haze at cloudy/storm/overcast and snow..
They should call those weather Overcast with fog/ snow with fog etc..

A desapointement again or maybe i'm too used to others sim with better terrains and weathers

This should be in a different thread...but I'll give my 2 cents.

II/JG54_Emil ... Warping in servers is entirely preventable by the host/Server side and has been for a long time. (Regardless if the player is doing it unintentionally or "helping" it happen)

If you are in a server that has warping going on, its not a well managed server for dogfights. With proper settings the players warping would get the auto-boot. Many servers have their settings way to loose. This is because they dont know the right settings or because they want to allow their friends with lousy internet connections and poorly maintained PCs the ability to join. (Sacrificing the quality of play for everyone)

If you're in a server that does have players warping, tell the admin. If the admin is unwilling to fix it or isn't knowledgeable enough to fix it, move to a better server.

Warp free servers do exist. If you or your friends find and like one with a low ping, but keep getting kicked (while many others are having no problem on it) then look at fixing your own internet connection and/or PC issues.

In Summary... there is no need to tolerate warping. It is easily preventable already and not something you need to wait for in 4.09.

Did anyone notice the way the AC "jump" and brake when strafed? Is this a new one?

Thank you!

That's splendid news! Your skins are top notch work, and Fiats and Macchis are great planes to fly!

Thanks a lot for that new inofficial patch!

Though, I noticed kind of bug on maps with water above 0m in perfect mode, water=2.

The waves with the reflections appear to be at 0 meters, although the surface of the lake is much higher. One can see through the mountains, so to speak.

Same counts for the small lake on the relatively new desert map.

On some areas of the slowakian map fps are heavily dropping, even in excellent mode.

Most non-clipped wing Spitfires have new skins aswell, which is not noted in the readme.

For some screenies take a look here:
