And before you flame me, remember, you PS3 guys got a patch -- we Xbox players did not. If we had, I'd still be playing regularly. As it is, it was just too frustrating. I switched to IL-2 1946 on PC and had a blast. |

It makes more sense to get everything right from the get go. Better to wait and have a fab game than rush it out onto the market half assed.

I'm guessing that this has more to do with MW3 in November than anything else..
It would be suicidal to release it 4th quarter, MW3 is going to be huge. Best to let it settle first. Remember MW2? That landed 2 months after IL-2 and took a lot of players away. |
Hell Yeah!!
When i was i child I used to spend HOURS flying over the pacific into something look like this http://www.old-games.com/screenshot/...attlehawks.jpg I will drool for this sequel!! :-) |
Roast???
Ok, whats up with all the hate on the Gaijin boards BOS topic???
People need to give Gaijin a break, people still blame them for what 505 did. Ok, I am done complaining now. |
Some BOS facts that have been mentioned.
1.Coop/versus mp MMO will feature persistent world, economics, evolution, etc. 2. Number of players in one session is not the mmo games criteria. There is out of session online gameplay. 3. Flight stick support + custom layout. 4. Unique cockpits for each fighter. 5. Consoles will most likely not have dedicated servers. |

Who knows? Only time'll tell. |
The mmo system will work like similar games like
-steel batallion line of contact. -mechassault 2 -chromehounds so if you had played these games previously you will know how this will work out. I just hope they allow us to host rooms with a server list in addition because these "mmo" servers always die off because the developers loses interest into funding them over the long term , this is what happened with steel batallion , and hopefully wont happen for this game |
