Reality is , as long as they release a SDK where you can make new maps with new textures , even islands - we wont really need expansions apart from new aircraft. The mod community can do it all and probably better as can be seen in most games.

Thanks Insuber!

Does anyone have an idea when the patch, not the expansion will be out?

Verhängnis 12-29-2011 07:16 AM

What Patch, I thought there is no more patching, and instead you buy the sequel and merge them?

FG28_Kodiak 12-29-2011 07:25 AM

Why not:

I'm with you on this one. With the amount of detailed ground vehicles and objects BoM is going to be a bonanza for ground pounding. Even the older Russian aircraft could be dangerous to ground troops. Be fun protecting either side's ground troops. Even more fun hedge hopping and strafing collumns of infantry and support vehicles in a Rata with 20mm canon and rockets.

I fear we will not see any grunts in BoM.

90% of the I-16 (and all of the I-153) were ShKAS-armed versions. In 1941 the ShVAK-armed types were as rare as a win in the lottery and only from 1942 on I-16 were modified with heavier armament by the frontline units. ;)

Wasn't there an original post by Luthier about a month and a half ago listing everything that was coming up. Sound was going to be a big part of it.
