The last serious update was a couple of months ago, and the next major one's Release Date is TBD.

But what is a bit more interesting is a newly announced Mod "Star Wolves 3: Bounds of Consent Anthology" for SW3 by ProtokSt at ModDB

Sadly i think you will not get answer as many people like Sneaksie left 1C. I think Star Wolves serie is dead.

Well Hal I hear ya I really do but it's June 1 and I am compelled to poke the bear.

I do hope that atleast some day literally anything will happen from 1C's side on this sub forum (other than a privacy policy update).

I would be fine with a Privacy Policy Update + SW4 tho.

Oh look nothing from 1C, Elite Games or hell even X-bow would be nice even though they no longer exist.

It does seem kind of pointless to keep doing this and maybe it is just a thing I do because I've been doing it so long it became a habit. Maybe we should form a support group.

It exists already, and I hear the Support Group of this one is quite huge with EA these days, we would fit right in alongside the Abused C&C Players that got to witness the abomination C&C: Rivals will be.

Although SW hasn't been raped to be a Mobile game.... (yet). I think we should be a bit more thankful the series is just a "No touchie" thing of 1C nowadays.

August 3, took me a couple days to realize the month changed. Pretty indicative of my hope levels that we will ever hear from anyone in any capacity at 1C.

Just finished watching 3rd season of The Expanse. It has so much in common with SW, every SW fan should watch it. Some CGI has so strong SW vibes, I was like "Wait, I've seen it somewhere!"

Well hello GW! - IF you can make an appearance then so can I. I agree that the Expanse is a great show and I can kind of see the SW parallels as far as the politics to a certain extent.

I am currently playing Starport Gemini Warlords which I picked up for a song during the Autumn sale on Steam. Just curious what space game you all are playing to fill the hole?

I was playing Rebel Galaxy , Starpoint Gemini Warlods got my interest too, maybe i will pick the game in Winter sale. I think it has now discount on Steam.

Rebel Galaxy soundtrack is absolutely amazing. Worth buying even for soundtrack alone.

I agree Rebel Galaxy was a good game with a great soundtrack. Well you can have it both ways since there is a steam workshop mod that adds the Rebel Galaxy soundtrack to Warlords. Win/win

Tbf Stellaris is also quite of a fine game.

I got Everspace from Steam sale, very solid game. Tryed the combat demo of Elite Dangerous and not like the conntroling of the ship.

I think 1c EU has no more employes, they even changed ownership of the company twice in 2017 (now is owned by 1C Entertaiment from Poland) and in last annual report they have only 2 employes.

Well my friends here we are yet another June and no word. Well since they apparently do not check this forum then allow me to promote a game that I have been playing quite heavily over the last month, Starsector. ( https://fractalsoftworks.com )

It is an open-world single-player space-combat, role playing, exploration, and economic game. It is played on a 2d plane as opposed to Star Wolves layout. There is a lot of lore but no campaign as yet in just exploration in the open world version. There are various one off missions that are seperate from the open world campaign play that are fun in another way.

There are a ton of mods for it that expand the gameplay ( https://fractalsoftworks.com/forum/i...hp?topic=177.0 ), I personally recommend a vanilla play to get used to it and then a mod called Nexerelin that adds a sort of 4x layer to it then pile on as many or few other mods you find interesting. Most work well together but if anyone is still reading this and has questions, I'll check in a couple times this month and answer what I can. And if you are still reading this and not interested, hey thanks for checking in! :)

Well, anyway, that's what I've been playing while waiting out the quarantine and for nocalora29 next update.

Oh well, 1c still thanks me for logging in. Thought for sure I'd be banned by now :)
