The Great War has been overlooked for far too long.

Massive furballs?

Bring it!

Yup. spinning at the breakneck speed of 60mph with the overriding chance to dump 5 gallons of 84 octane in my lap just has an eery appeal to me.

For me it will be a whole new way to fly, as I have never done The Great War before in a sim.

I do hope some earlier aircraft come in time.

Can you imagine a Moraine Saulnier monoplane with the bullets from the single gun bouncing off the armored prop?!?!

Seems we're getting closer. Rumors state that RoF will be released via STEAM in April. Not officially confirmed, though.

So who's going to upgrade for RoF and who's still going to hold out for BoB?

I upgraded about 6 months ago, but went for a core 2 duo, rather than a quad core. It will be interesting to see how it scales across the extra cores.

My upgrade path was to eventually get a Quad core, when the prices came down.

Or theres aways the old fallback! To bastardise the words of Elwood, "Oh Holy Mother of Overclocking, don't fail me now!!!!"
( I can get my e8500 running at 3.6Ghz stable and over 4Ghz if I don't worry about the prime tests!)

ROF will work just fine with c2duo...with quad it will run smoother (Neoqb statement).....dont worry about SOW I doubt it will be ready this year....

These are recommended settings, that means these are the stats to get the best out of the game.

If you take this list as a reason to upgrade your PC, that is either because you want to play RoF maxed out from the beginning or because you simply don't understand the difference between minimum and recommended settings.
