Thank you TD!!!! |
Thank you Team Daidalos for yet another great patch!
The new effects and the native widescreen (+FoV) support makes this a game-changer. Surprised nobody commented yet on the new firing particle and smoke effects and especially how the bullets ricochet from the ground. These are simply excellent. Also digging the new subtle splash when an autocannon round hits -- no more of the old inane mini-explosions. Gave the new aircraft a spin, I must highlight that I simply love the Hawk's cockpit, it's obvious that it is a work of love. Really glad to see the new japanese planes too -- especially the B5N, it really fills the blank in the whole aircraft park, but the two-engined heavy fighter was important for the Japanese side (and probably will end up flying the latter more). Not too interested in the SB right now (that's subjective, but seems like some folk really looked forward to it), but it's definately one step closer for a complete russian flyable list. What are we missing? The Tu-2 and DB-3 comes to mind as more prominent. Summa summarum, there's still much life in the old 'gal. Looking forward to 2023. S! |
Wanted these posted as a last update but the patch was faster than me in the end... anyway:
