..I would say that in answer to the OP, people behave like this out of frustration: when you don't have much news or broken promises after broken promises you're not left with much else but aggravation, anger and resentment.

I came to the conclusion that no matter how much you complain, they don't care, because they haven't cared for so long and won't start now.

I'm back to IL-2 for now until this mess is sorted, the new mods and flyable planes are giving it a second life, the whole IL-2 1956 is a true gem!!

That thread is a FM based thread.. In summary emotions run high in all FM related threads for many reason, but typically most FM arguments have one thing in common.. People who are not able to admit they were bested by the other sim pilot.. Which leads to them blaiming the FM for their loss. Which is not to say there are NO problems/errors in the FM only that a lot of personal short comings get falsely attributed to the FM.. Which in the end leads to a lot of bickering back and forth

But just about every flight sim made to date has that problem.. That is to say go to any flight sim forum and you will see that kind of exchange

Which is not the topic at hand.. What we are talking about here.. Here we are talking about the six or so whiners that feel the need to bring up issues over and over and over again that 1C has already address. It is understandable how some seeing that over and over and over again will not loose any sleep seeing such people announce their departure.

Lixma is not a new member; he had joined the forum more than a year prior to making that thread and has been flying IL2 for a long time before that.

He mentions a decade, which suggests to me that he's been around for a good while.

In short, the thread you linked is the opposite of a perfect example.

That person was no new and was not asking a question, they were whining about the game being too realistic.

Read the thread. The whole thing! It's the perfect example of 1C Forum goers being completely ignorant, and has all the classic moron retorts...

I read the thread. It was not an example of "people have told new member asking legit questions to "get lost" or "go back to your arcade game". Not even close.
