From what i read you can get it for about 10 bucks..... why is there a question. Just buy it and try it. If you dont like it just wait and consider the 10 dollars spent an investment well spent instead of buying that 10 dollar life size cardboard cutout of arnold schwatzenegger to have when you watch scary movies...

Most, if not all, Software is "flawed and unfinished" when it is published.

Ok, in the case of CoD it was a bit more than usual, WAS!, now CoD is for the majority of players enjoyable, even in this "flawed and unfinished" state.

You, Sir, are calling a few cent per hour entertainment overpaid, that is out of relation for me.

Yes, a lot more than usual....this game was a disaster alpha on release and was sold to many at release price. Thats why it was given so many aweful scores in reviews on release.

Once it is patched and out of beta state (AI sucks, it has terrible AA and is having its graphics rewritten from scratch, just for starters) it might be worth 50 bucks.

At the moment, if someone finds a legit copy at a bargain so what. Whinners crying and insulting others values because he didn't shower devs with money is bizarre values. You sir, calling out those who take a bargain price, that is out of relation.

Icarus, if you had read my post#27 you wouldn't write such nonsense about calling out the lucky ones!

The only nonsense written is you saying CoD is worth hundreds of dollars....a really laughable statement.

If you are thinking about buying this game read this first. Make an informed decision.

This is not just my opinion and is a fair review:
Gamespot 4/10

When a once-popular genre goes underrepresented for so long, it's tempting to give any new entry the benefit of the doubt. That's especially true when that new product comes from a developer known for its dedication to the subject matter. IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover is one such game, and Maddox Games is one such developer. What to make, then, of this unfinished fiasco, especially when its target audience has so few modern options? Like previous IL-2 installments, this World War II combat flight simulator will benefit from a passionate community and the included modification tools. But that's no excuse for the clearly broken state it was released in. The technical issues are a real shame, for underneath them is a solid and complex simulation that deserved a worthy package to showcase it. In time, Cliffs of Dover might soar. But for now, all but the most patient simmers should leave this damaged aircraft in the hangar for further maintenance.

FM is good and I'm getting my head round the engine management slowly.

Glad I bought it!!!!!
