I think the real point here the manner of posts, not the content. Of course negative posts are OK, even welcome (Oleg and Luthier have said so). I think it's even less about the posters as who their posting to. Oleg and his team do what they do for the love of it. It's highly unlikely that anyone is getting rich at 1C or Maddox games. Some of us are just grated by the way people abuse them that's all. It's embarrassing really.

Maybe we expect the community that we are a part of to have a little class. It's probably silly to expect it across the board. We might well be happy that it's the case for the most part.......

I agree, of course criticism is necessary, that is what helps improve the product, for CoD and for DT patches. I think what separates this forum from some others is that most of the members are polite and constructive in their debate which is something that I had only seen previously in closed or very niche forums. It is a public forum so of course there is the occasional 'internuts', but it seems to pretty well regulated here.

the trolls and the attackers and the insulters get banned,
the nit picker, sky is falling, street sign is the wrong colour guys get eyes rolled at them.
How is you suggestion better then what is happening now.
Oleg and co want feed back. None of us know who might have the critical feed back.

That would really be awesome, an elite forums where all the fan boys could congregate and talk to Oleg. LOL

Oleg and Luthier are grown men, they can deal with the stupid postings.
There are options open to them, including the ignore list.

WHo knows... if you have never received a direct response from Oleg or Luthier to one of your stupid postings you might be on their ignore list.
