I thought he was talking about WoP and/or the sequal to BoP.

Hawk you are a freakin movie making stud:!::grin:

Wonderful concept, Great camera angles, Terrific editing, married to the Perfect soundtrack. Well done my good man, well done.

Man I wish I had a new PC so I could run that game :(

I just tried the demo myself and boy what a difference from the 360 version
First i could use my old trusty logitech force 3D Pro joystick (i know, its not the best out there but it does its job). Now compare that joy from the xbox av8tor its huge difference there already. No goddam deadzone, smooth in controls, easy to finetune aim. Loads of buttons you can config as you want and so on :)

I played on my pc-screen and on 1680X1050 res. and all the settings maxed out. The demo limits some settings (only the full game have all settings) and still the game run smooth as silk :)
And boy it looked good. Gonna try it on my 37" lcd tv-screen later and see how it works there.

Too bad the 360 version didnt quite work out as good as it does on pc though, perhaps its not fair to compare the two formats but i cant help to feel the pc is ways moore better.

Once i had the freetrack ( http://www.free-track.net/english/ ) similar to trakir5.0 and was flying in 1946 and it was really fun, feeling realistic as it can be apart from the real thing.

Im thinking of buying wop if the patch to bop dont work out so well as i hope.
To bad we cant have any better joys to 360. Now when i have tryed my old log. 3d force pro again its really hard to load up the crappy av8tor again.

Edit: does anyone now how the online system works on wop yet? Is it released in public so we can go out and play online?

Desode 01-02-2010 04:26 PM

The online is up , its the same hosting system and it has some problems. We are all Hounding the DEV's for a Dedicated server system and if they can give us that ! Well WOP sales will double really quick. Hosting systems are just junk, they always have been and always will be just that.

This video, like all my previous, was made entirely from within the Training mode.

I have a video request: Battle of Britain (film) type thing. Just use a hurricane and shoot some stuff down :D
Thanks!

Very kind words indeed & to that; many thanks. I'm real glad like-minded ppl such as ur good self can enjoy them. From what I'm hearing though, it sounds as if WoP, although beautiful in looks & playability; is framerate friendly to most machines. On the other hand, there is no reason at all that the devs can't bring BoP up to speed. The replay editor is nothing fancy, complex engine management could be added now there is keyboard & mouse support for PS3, & all the extra cockpits, LaGG 3, Yak 7 & P-40E simply HAS to make it as DLC.

Thanks again. ;)

Great work on the videos H-Hawk!! Keep em' coming...

By the way... does the WoP PC game have a mission editor?? The training mode on BoP is nice, but a real mission editor is what I wish for...

Hi & thanks.

According to the yuplay website, there may be plans for a quick mission editor in the very near future but they didn't go into any kind of detail as to it's content & functionality etc. This is copied from the site, from the admin team member 'todace'.

Ok, more details.
1. No custom skins will be available. May be later in updates or in sequel - we are working on lots of directions and User Generated Content too. But our game is much more complex in terms of content - so it is much harder to make skins too.
2. In fact main new features are:
Main: authentic bullet tracers, more relaistic rain effects, arcade realism level has now much more realistic speeds limits, all authentic cockpits for all fighters (may be in next DLC\update for console game too, but depends on publisher).
Multiplayer: 32 players in match, Join-in-Progress, Migration Host, Persistent lobby (and lots of fixes, some of them are the same as in update, some are new), changes in team modes gameplay scheme (now only Allies against Axis available)
Single: optional take-offs in some missions.

After release we plan to release som-addons with planes\missions\locations (that is to be detailed).
Also we want to make som UGC support - skins or\and missions (or just advanced quick mission builder). But that is future plans for next year.

I thought Todace was lead designer? But anyway...

LOL you didn't think this was a significant piece of info? ;)

I don't know how old this post from Todace is as I stopped checking that forum cos it keeps signing me out and I have to dig out the password, but that implies that cockpit DLC for consoles is still on the table.

Ah well. Corrected again. I was going by the title in the left hand column under Group: Administrators

That sentence is not significant to me in the slightest, personally speaking but yes I do see your point & I really hope that BoP can make up ground with WoP.
