Anywho, hope we can do this again sometime? If necessary ill host so all 6 of us can play again and Infinite can get some revenge. |
Yeah thanks for everyone that played, turned out to be an excellent game. I had the time of my life in that La-7 lol. Well played to everyone that did play and haitch you've got that spitfire set up really well. Almost made me want to go back to flying the spitfire but im convinced the la-7 is the best plane so im gonna stick at it.
Inifitestates i just wish you didnt have to complain so much lol, at the end of the day it was a fair competitive game, two teams battling it out. Settings were infact default 5 second respawn is default and Dover is the default map i thought we all agreed on this as the map ? and you did do a little too much bailing in tdm all i had to do was get a shot on you switch to another target and then to come back at you only to find you'd bailed out or crashed the plane. Maybe the crashing wasnt done purposely but it did seem that way. Personally i found cta the most exciting constant planes coming in 'trying' to land only to be bombed within seconds. At one point i looked down at the airfied and all i could see was burning planes, it was almost impossible to get a landing through all the smoke ! So cta wasnt boring at all possibly the most exciting of the lot. Strike, well i find strike boring anyway otherwise id have one of those b17's by now so yeah strike was boring as always but nonetheless it was a competitive game and i enjoyed it. Pignouf in his b17 won the game for us here, once that thing gets through its a game winner. As to us having only 3 targets theres no real advantage, infact the b17 is more suited to carpet bombing so id say team B is at the advantage here. Also theres nothing wrong with kamikaziing in that arado for one it only carries so many bombs so its useless for carpet bombing / going from target to target and two its so sh**te at turning so you may aswell just get those last few bombs off in a kamikazee run and come back in with a new plane with a full set of bombs. Oh and i can confirm crashing the plane into the target doesnt do any damage, i tried it earlier ;). Not quite sure what happened with you here though infinitestates you seemed to quit the game as soon as you realised you were gonna lose, not exactly good sportsmanship on your behalf. You should stick with your team till the end regardless if your gonna win or lose. At the end of the day tactics are tactics and there what win games, so stop complaining and be happy we managed to get a good game going :). |

OK, I can't be bothered to argue the toss over this, and its pointless as it's a differing in opinion, not fact. If I'm the only one that feels 2 out of the 3 game set ups were not designed with fun for both sides in mind, then fair enough. Each to their own. It seems it was only not fun for me.
I'm sorry if you think I crashed a lot in TDM. You try keeping a spitfire in the air with holes all over it's wings. If you finish the job you'd get the kill - simple as that. Maybe ocean can post his screenshot so I can see just how many more crashes I had than anyone else? But, FYI, I quit the strike match when the ticket count was 1 vs 190-odd, so I hardly left my team mates in the lurch. By then I was pissed off with the issues I've already mentioned. And it wasn't won by your B17 because he only made it to target once - it was won by ocean's suicide tactics. You may have noticed I initially chose a B17 and could have stayed with that and we probably would have steamrolled you - but I chose spitfire when I saw what others had chosen. Know why? To make the game fun. Bloody waste of time that was. But I wish you all many happy games in the future. |
