I would say that slagging off a game which you have never even played is more idiotic actually :P

You say you can't understand why people would pay €50/60 for this game? Well here let me help you out with that, people will spend that money because they will be entertained by the game and enjoy playing it. Just because YOU might not doesn't mean others won't either. Now is that difficult for you to comprehend? Some people might be looking forward to the coop campaign and not give a stuff about online or it's lack of a mission builder.

I'm not a 'fanboy' of the game nor do I dislike it as I haven't played it yet. I do however regularly play Arma and Arma 2 which are great games on the Pc.

and this game has cut out nearly all of the integral features of the franchise and subsituted it with raw fish eggs and diarrhea.

Seriously , the only slobs defending this game are the people who have no clue what the hell operation flashpoint was about and how it played.

This game is basically a picture perfect scenario of PC gaming being raped of its pure and ingenious franchises of games.

I dont want to think about what is going to happen to crysis , thank god ubisoft canned world in conflict for the 360 , as that would have turned out like aids. (keep in mind that IMO WIC was in my top 5 of best games ever, operation flashpoint not being on the list)

all i can see is the typical responce of someone who likes to play cod cause it doesnt take any skill to play other than running around like a madman trying to get to the best hotspot so you can brag about how you pawn ppl on it to boost you fragile ego... or you run around jumping up and down like you have had an overdose of kangaroo juice how cool it must be to be you the one with the twitchyest finger pawning all those noobs over an over again to get prestige you know the pointless objective in all new cod games or you could run around shooting ppl with your GOLDEN mp4 ohhh the coolness is just oozing from you now all noobs should know there place and bow down to the greatness that is you

wow you are ******* dumb , if you actually paid attention to what he wrote you would understand that he played the first operation flashpoint and liked it alot.

As far as the call of duty comments go , liking COD for being COD is fine and dandy.

Just because you get your ass RAPED every time you try "Reel TACKTIX" in a game that is based on having mindless gunragin fun, doesnt mean call of duty is a bad game.

What makes operation flashpoint 2 a bad game is the fact that unlike call of duty whos goal is a easy to pick up and play shooter to have fun with , opflash 2 tried to be a military simulator and turned out to be a POS without any real developmental direction towards realism or arcade in any sense. While it has realistic sounds and models , its controls like some battlefeild game and players can magically heal soliders with a medic bag.

They claim their engine is amazingly advanced and the draw distance is 20km , you can only play in 2x2 km of land in multiplayer , and there are only 4 "maps" in the game.

Its a joke , the developers of operation flashpoint are incompetent and IMO little gaijen entertainment has shown a successful way to take a pc franchise and put it on the console.

Codemasters has shown how to molest a franchise to the point where you want to forget about the good times you had with the first game

I understand basic English fine thanks and your explanations as to why people shouldn't spend that money on the game are pathetic. People will be buying the game to play to enjoy regardless of how it compares to the original game. Can you not understand that some people want this game because it appeals to them as is? Fair enough you won't be spending money on it because you don't like what it has to offer but others do. It really is down to peoples preference as to what they feel is good value and what they are willing to spend on it. I would imagine a lot of people will be getting this game who have never even heard of let alone played the original game so your reasons are pretty much redundant to them.

You think releasing a game with 2 MP modes and 4 maps on launch and then charging them for more maps and modes that should have been there in the first place is a good thing? You think constantly bragging about how big the island is and then admitting you can only play in a restricted box with a max of 8 people is a good thing?
