it's been confirmed the b-17 is in the game off the shelf, no DLC required. it's in the live demo vid (the guy is showing the hanger with a "flying fortress" in it), sticky on this forum.

If you have either a ps3 or a 360 and it's not connected to the internet you are missing out on a lot of things. Demo's, patches, dlc, etc. The only people i can image that are without a connection are those still living with their parents. In that case, they should just shut up. I'm sure i won't unlock every plane in the game. And even if that includes one of my favorite ww2 planes i'm not going to cry murder here.
for the record some of us can't use our consoles to connect to the internet. As a matter of fact I have to use an air card for my laptop im using to post this reply

Im discouraged that if you pre-order here you get this if you pre-order there you get a b-17..... I flippen pre-orderd and all I got was this flippen t-shirt ....I mean the b-17 is american give it to us on the pre-order......FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF...Im just a little pissed and dont get me started on the p-47......wheres my flippen JUG???????

I thought the P47 was a DLC? Or was it one of the planes you could get in Europe for free? I'm just glad I've got my soviet planes!!

B-17 is not a preorder gift... its the Ta-135 (or summit like that) and the 'jug'

no lancaster im afriad, but everyone has been hinting that the B17 is unlocked through online play (bombing matches i suppose) its not a fact, its a theory.
