No ones shooting anyone.

I just don't see the point of everyone getting whipped up at this early stage !!!!

Its ready when its ready.

Who the heck are we to tell Oleg who's distributing HIS sim :)

Just stop poking the sleeping bear .... it might maul you !!

I am not whipped up, i am merely passing on information.

It is indeed ready when its ready.

We are not telling Oleg who should distribute his sim. We are merely telling you who may not be.

I am not poking anyone, and i am not scared of being mauled.

Tree...could you imagine the hand wringing in here if SOW didn't have a western publisher yet. :)

Past history has shown its released in the eastern market first then the western.

This should be avoided help keep off the pirate copies due to an imbalance in the east-west markets.

I hope 1c take it on themselves as far as distribution goes, I would rather them get all the profits.

The online community is small in comparison to "other" online games/sims I wonder how much youtube contributed to sales compared to UBI soft, also sales figures are higher in eastern markets than western and probally easier to handle from 1c's end.

I can wait, IL2 1946 isn't dead and offers more than BoB will on its first release, I hope the quality is of the same standard the past products have been.

He also said only a small minority of guys that he had spoken to had actually heard of it. I asked him if he had spoken to people who were at the same level as him i.e. Group brand manager, he said yes. he also said that if found any info out he would let me know in the future. I think from this info it is now fairly safe to say that Ubi are not involved.

I just came to check up on one thing:
If you go to www.stormofwar.com you are redirected to www.ubi.com.
So it seems they must have some connection to the game after all. As far as I know, the stormofwar-adress has not been accessable for more than a few months.

I'm so hoping 1C does the westen publiching in house. man im so sick of UBI and thier garbage. they screw everything up they put thier hands on. Pacific Fighters anyone? i mean comon. we all know how that played out.

yep no more UBI involved in Olegs sims...that'd be a good thing for us.
And possibly more profitable for Oleg & 1C? lets hope.
