Two weeks to the big party :)

As previously mentioned the skin featured in the 2nd lot of photos did not have skis enabled (as I did not know there would be a winter version of the map).

I have updated the download, revisions include:

- Skis enabled so the skins will work with this wonderful new Slovakia Winter map once its available.

- Historical corrections. Tail insignia now the right way up !!!

- Bonus new skin not in original download ... Slovak Republic before Polish Campaign (no Balkenkruz)

A truly amazing map! The best map I have ever seen!

Yes, a dedicated server update for 4.09 is a 'must-have' for the online players.

A full release of 4.09 would benefit the entire IL-2 community, not just one faction or another. We don't really need another 10-month beta though... as mentioned several posts back, let's get this puppy released so the community can enjoy the crowning achievement of the IL-2 series. Then the community can busy itself with campaigns, missions and paint schemes to fit the wonderful new maps while we all await the initial offering in the S.o.W. series.

Basically until we see a final with final releases of the maps and a dedicated server to match...I'm really not going to use any of these in new MP or SP scenarios. Just too many uncertainties in play until these things are sorted out.

Yup. 4.09 dedicated server is a must for me too.

Well yes AND the marvellous winter map.
