Probably because if they stopped to fix everything first we wouldn't get the Steam patch for another six months.

I'll take what they can give as soon as its ready.

some old bugs, still not fixed:

-Bf110, wrong canons, a C-4/-7 should have MG-FF/M. Otherwise they are no -4/-7 version !
-Ju87, supercharger settings are reversed to the description in the cockpit - you get automatic shifting when the cockpit lever is set to "Bodenlader"
-Ju88, the bombdoors are opening and closing automaticly with bombrelease
-Blenheim, the bombdoors are NOT opening and closing automaticly with bombrelease ;)
-Ju88, Gyro compass not working
-Blenheim, flaps have only two positions
-Ju88, has a CSP , should be a manual propeller (with an available automatic setting that would hold 2350rpm)
-G.50, engine is running with both magnetos set to off

-and i still have no idea how to edit loadouts directly in the singleplayermissions.................

Seriously, what the hell do we do BETA testing for?.. this isnt even funny anymore..

This isnt an official patch ffs... its just a Beta reintroducing different bugs..what makes it worse is that this side of things is apparently done so now were concentrate on engine and FM's are the lil bonus surprise..

No really..stop what your doing, look at what you released and go over it all again because at this rate this Sim will never be finished, working running OK and have the content were expecting...if we do it will be on a ''you have to put up with xxx & xxx'' which is not acceptable

Please DEVS, sort it out

Im no fanboi or a flamer, im on the fence and am just stating the obvious...it REALLY is 1 step forward but 2 steps back..this patch should not be an official release, its no different to a BETA...fact

launcher.exe crashes are more often it seems. I flew with Mr. X around for couple hourse (repka server), and he crashed 5-8 times with launcher.exe!!

I got one crash, via launcher.exe, dump file is 0kb, I dont know if it is just empty or to upload!?

Have to say, Eagle Dynamics, handles such game errors better then the Clod devs......!!

I know the frustration.. but I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that this will probably take a couple of years to sort out, not months..
Luckily my gaming life.. (as opposed to the real one..lol) has other flight sim games to play on, so this old girl can plod along as is.. I'll be there to try out all the patches etc until it comes right..
Still have to say though, there are times this thing has moments of sheer brilliance as well as the frustration of other things not working.. but it doesn't rule my life, it's only a game, and I can wait.. There's real life and death issues out there I deal with on a regular basis.. this is no biggy as things go.. :)

Anyone else having issues with the REVI gunsight on the 109 and 110?

I'll set mine to 50-60% on startup and everything seems fine. Once in flight any adjustment up or down will cause the sight to turn off. An attempt to increase the illumination via keyboard or clickable cockpit will not work. A single keystroke/click returns a HUD notification of "Illumination 5%" followed immediately by a "Illumination 0%".

I also lost my illumination last night in a 110 when I adjusted my aileron trim. As soon as I hit my key combination (shift+left_arrow) to trim left, my illumination dropped all the way to zero.

This makes it very difficult to target in certain lighting conditions; especially dusk and dawn.

lol.. BF3, now if you want to talk about anything that doesn't reflect reality, then thats it!
If you can put up with games like that, especially if you have any kind of military background, putting up with CoD is a doddle!
