Wrong, protection with steam is not solid, within a couple of days of this game going live a working cracked copy was out on torrent sites, and trust me for every update, there will be a new crack
And a lot of the people that download them, do infact end up buying the game, because as much as you can play single player, you cant play multiplayer

That's always the downside of pirate copies and as you say, many then buy the game for that reason, offline is okay for a while, but the type of people that download torrents are most likely the type that like online action.

I haven't watched any of them. I don't even have the game yet. But it's annoying that people are pirating this game so freely, when we know how much work is being put into it. It's also annoying that i search for new CloD videos to enjoy, and all i get in results are these videos made by dickheads.

There must be something that can be done to these people?

Danjama,

did you by any chance click on some of those videos and see what they are exactly? Yes, it is a fraud, but not with the IL2 Cod, just leads you to some site where you clicking make money to the people.

Knowing what you are talking about, showing real interest for the things that you are talk about, and before all reaction without emotions in them, can make you less stupid among friends actually.

No, I didn't click on them, why would I? Thanks for the kind words though.

Not sure why it matters that the content of said movies is not what's promised on the title - does that make it ok?

Get some manners.

So, you wasn't even sure what is it all about? You even don't know if there are some cracks and keygens and all that pirate stuff in those videos?

You just read the titles, and run here screaming "wolf, wolf"? Actually just making noise. Why?

No need to thank me, I'm glad that I can help.
Let me just repeat those words once more, just to be of even more help:

Even with manners this time.

They have been driving moderators crazy with all their rampaging posts on this forums.

I'm glad others are beginning to see it.

Updates will go through steam so maintaining BOB COD will be difficult for them over the long run. Unless they are just set on getting it for free they would do better just to buy it. The workarounds will drive them nuts with all the patches we having coming over the next couple months.

;)

I'm thinking we have the understanding of the release now... cheers
