I'm used to dealing with people and organisations that at least try to keep their promises and explain themselves if they don't. Many posters here obviously don't expect that of Ubisoft and perhaps that is based on their previous Ubisoft experience. I have never bought from them before.

Expectations of Ubisoft are obviously very low around here.

Triggaaarr, re-read the email they sent me, they do not have a release date yet. Of course that information could just be another spectacular piece of incompetence.

btw Codex what is UBI's Official Published date if it isn't what is on their website?

This isn't a moan about further delays to official launch. It has been launched. Some of us have actually paid for it. They simply weren't going to bother to tell me I wasn't going to get it when I expected to based on their own dates.

But then I guess I'm just old-fashioned.

If you look at release date here http://games.1c.ru/il2_britain/ it's still a 25 march 2011. Don't panic people, all be OK, I think. :)

Why don't we just sit back and wait, nothing we can do anyway so why get all flustered.

Got a mail from amazon.de today. Release date has changed and new estimated delivery is 1st april - 13th april.

"Guten Tag,

All of these release dates that I have seen changed are for either retail box versions or the collectors editions. I strongly believe the download version will be out on time, either on Steam or any other major game download site. Probably due to the fact that they have to press a bunch disks with limited time. I plan on getting the download version anyways. More money for Mr. Oleg means for more fun in the future :)

ms-kleaneasy (Ubi support) is looking into the mess over on the Ubi forum.

The only thing i care about is the possibility of it being delayed past mid-April, which to be honest i don't expect to happen. I pre-ordered a collector's edition via a relative in the UK who's booked return tickets back home for those dates.

If it's delayed past that date, it will arrive on my guy's UK address when he's not there. As long as it comes out between now and April 14th i'm good to go :grin:
