The Avro Arrow, I love how it looks. Also reminds me of the space shuttle. Too bad they canceled its development and destroyed the planes :(

Certainly! :) Many pilots still call them gliders. I just prefer the tearm "sailplane" because it's more descriptive of what it actually does, sort of like a sailboat only in 3 dimensions.

This is a pic of the one I usually fly. I know she aint much to look at but she's very light, handles well and I LOVE the open cockpit :cool:

LOL, "coolness.jpg." Must be fun to fly planes. I've never even been on one let alone flown one :(

That's an oldy :P. Your own?

I trained on ASK-21's and 23's, nice n stable. I went to Spain before I could get my license though, so never flew some of the more advanced gliders.
