it really isnt all that hard, i only have 1 mission left and ill get the sim achievement. It's that dumb mission in italy where you have to land mid mission. I gave that one a good 40 minutes before i gave up and just went to the next mission.

I gave up because i have an Av8r stick. No wheel brakes :(

just land with your joystick, then when you touch the ground, put it on pause, and connect your controller. Brake, and connect joystick :).. thats what I did

Just select 'no' when they ask you if you want to pick him up. Seems kind of harsh, but well, all is allowed in war :P.

Reading this thread there was a comment about the Waffen SS being animals / butchers. Granted some Waffen SS units were involved in atrocities during the war..Malmedy etc. Many people have the misconception that the SS was a single entity, this is wrong and unfair to the many Waffen SS who fought with distinction on all fronts. The SS concentration camp guards go into the animal / butcher category, the SD Gestapo go there also along with the Eizengruppen which were not military units. Please do not take this the wrong way and if I have offended anyone I apologize in advance

Why worry about your gamerscore. Mine's in the tank after I lost all my saves. So what, it 's not like it's worth anything. And seriously man, slow down on the energy drinks.

So you lost one Gamertag doing "something stupid" and you want to rectify this by....giving a stranger your account details?

Sorry, I cant resist

While I'm sure this is the case, it's important to recognise that atrocities were committed by primarily military SS units against both the Soviet and US/British forces. An example is the Battle of the Bulge, when a force from the 1st SS Panzer Division under a character by the name of Pieper took it on himself to order the of massacre substantial numbers of unarmed US prisoners and local civilians to spread terror as he advanced. There were numerous similar cases of behaviour by SS units on the German's Eastern front. Now as is always the case, not every SS soldier participated in these atrocities, but the military SS units did a lot of pretty nasty things during the war, and I don't think it's inappropriate for them to be generalised as being far more brutal and inhumane than your soldier.

what we need to remember is that under nazi rule if a german solider/civive etc spoke out against them or didnt follow orders to the letter they were shot there familys were shot so while i dont condone the SS i do belive that a great number of the ss soliders did what they did under great duress (sp.)

a great number of germans did not agree with the nazi,s if you have seen the film valkarie at the end of the film it tells you that there were no less than 17 attempts to kill hitler that were made by german soliders civies etc not all germans were nazis
i like the german planes weapons etc and the reason i like the german jets so much is becuse i admire there engeneering skills etc not becuse i like nazi i despise what the nazis did
