Does any body have seen at the begining of this COD video, that the Hurricane have 2 /two/ control sticks in to the cockpit - the one is with high resolution, and the other is with low resolution...Oleg? I have no words...
only happens when your model level is set to low......I havent seen that happen any other time, and there should be no need to set model to low because it has no hit on performance.

This has been acknowledged by Luthier, it's a bug in the Hurricane model when using low model detail.

I took a fraps video of me and my buddy experimenting with cod multiplay for the first time. :)

Just recorded a .trk track for the first time and managed to export it as an AVI, making the unplayable .trk look playable on the highest video settings. Turns out I didn't have to do all that live playing and recording with FRAPS at low speed then speeding it up later in editing after all.

Still can't get the sound to work properly though, it's either distorted, or clear but looping, or not there at all, depending on my in-game audio settings. If anyone's got it working (why aren't you posting video's?) can you tell me what video codec and audio settings you're using? (There are work-arounds I guess, like just playing the track and recording the audio only and dubbing it onto the AVI, but it'd be better not to have to.) Must get some sleep now though.

Am I incorrect to say the Hurri was spinning the wrong way? Isn't the remaining wing suppose to rise and not fall since there is no resistance left on the other side of the plane?

It is probably going to rise because the remaining wing still generates lift. But yes, it was spinning the wrong way.

not necessarily, in this case the crash caused the wing to stall and the nose to point down, therefore the spinning is caused by drag. The left wing has more drag then... the air on the right so it forces the plane around. Just a note the plane will continue rotating with a lowered nose unless the wing starts to create lift again. It's basically an auto-rotating lone wing so the plane behaves like it's in an upside down spin. Nasty.

I go to this thread each morning. It is interesting to see the videos taken with different systems and different viewpoints of the poster.

At around:the 22th second into this vid you can see the actual trails of spend bullet casings from the shooting plane coming nose on.

Upon close examination, the spent bullet casings are visibly streaming from the bottom of each wing, before the first tracers ignite and come flying by.

What splendid details.
