I really don't see why people are complaining about stalls and spins so much... I never have a problem stalling and I fly a variety of planes. And no, I don't fly on arcade. :)

Don't tell me you never had one wingdrop. This would mean you only fly straight or a max bank angle of 30 degrees :S. Adjusting elevator sensitivity helps a great deal to counteract stalls etc. Because of that I have no stall problems anymore either. Without it however my wing drops every 2 secs in a Spit.

try the P-51 ;)

Flying the P-51 is like trying to coax a squirrel to come feed from your hand. Any sudden movements and it's all over. For me it's a matter of thinking one step ahead so I don't need to jerk the stick so much.

Same here. Usually I'm flying my Yak-3!!! and I never go into a spin or stall? Maybe I just no the limitations or something, but really, as long as you keep your speed up, and don't start bleeding off speed in a turn. You'll do just fine.

Just don't pull the stick or thumb toggle ALL the way back, then those with the stall and spin problem, won't have it so much. :D

yeah I played some arcade and wasn't impressed- too much like a video game.

I actually have less problems flying on sim than realistic, I think the flaps and trim controls help, my problem is seeing the targets. I've got a good HDTV, so I guess it's just my eyes. Really wish we had the option to turn the target box on and off, it'd really help with the ground attack missions. And before I get slapped down, yes, I know it's not realistic, like I said, it's my eyes.

I agree there should be a target box on Sim yet only at close range to help see ground targets that could be clearly seen in RL.

That stall indicator is the thing I hate about realistic. Damn thing won't shut up. I'd love it if they could, in the patch, let you turn it off and replace it with the Stall shudder sound effect that is currently missing from the cockpit view.
