I live in Canada and the gameonly came out Friday so I haven't had much time but I did spend a couple hours on line last night and was only able to find arcade games and only very few players, not a single realistic game. I am missing something? To be honest the arcade was ok but seemed a lot like Blazing Angels now obviously its WAY better but the fact that is was a non stop furball with unlimted f/a, crazy speed and no stalling it was not what I'm excited about this game for. Is there a particular time or game type I should be looking for?

Last night was pretty quiet. I was online for a while (I actually saw you sign in just as I was signing off), yet matches were few and far between. I played quite a bit on Saturday, though; and weeknights are generally good times to find matches.

Lastly, I couldn't agree more about the flight models for the P-51 and FW-190 series planes. How these were messed up is beyond me. Every pilot that has flown a P-51 speaks of the absolute joy one finds when piloting these planes (similar to a Spit pilots talking about their aircraft), yet the plane is flat awful in the game. I just don't get it... and I'm saddened because I wanted to fly these two planes the most.

I would have said that most people play arcade (I know I do) because it's hard to stall. I played a few simulator strike games with a few friends earlier on, and although i'm beginning to get the hang of it, arcade does offer more fun per crashes, which are penny a piece in Simulator for me. I have to say that I did get kinda boring when every time I pulled back on the stick the plane stalled, entered a flat spin and plummeted to the ground like a sack of ******* bricks.

Try flying the La's or 109's first, with the elevator sensitivity down a bit, after a while you'll get the hang of it. I'll admit I haven't played arcade, but from what I've heard there's not a big difference between the airplanes there.

I was in a 109 to begin with, and it wasn't too bad. However, deciding to unlock the Ju-87D meant I needed to win in the Ju-87B, and that's when I started falling out of the sky.

Well, some things in arcade aren't bad - with a decent pilot behind the stick, planes like the Hurricane can successfully outturn and defeat 109's and stuff

On the other hand, I saw a B-17 do a fairly tight loop yesterday, so...

Just remember that everyone has the same problem if they don't watch out. Part of being good at this game is knowing your aircraft, and being able to turn as tight as possible without stalling it is an important part of that, just like knowing how fast you can pull up without dropping a wing.
