But why have to wait for a sequel when its totally doable now, that seems like... it will be in the next one, then, oh not this one but the next, and so on and so on, just to keep ppl buying, theres been a lot of that lately with console games, which is totally crap considering the average console game is twice as much in terms of cost compared to pc games. Cant help but feel its turnng into a pure money maker attitude.

Its a case of having more things you could do than you actually have time to do within the deadlines from the publisher. So they have to prioritise, and that means things that could be done like allowing multiple players to fly in the same plane are less important than for example completing all the plane models. Since we know that not all the planes have cockpits, and some are sharing others cockpits (why this hasn't been done for all planes without cockpits I don't know), there are more important things to work on when it comes to supporting this title. Bear in mind they can't really sell something like that either, so from their point of view it would be best kept back as a selling point for the next game in the series, which will hopefully expand like the original series to cover the Pacific theatre.
Another point is that multiple players sharing the same plane is supposed to be something new to the series when Storm of War:Battle of Britain comes out, and I don't think Oleg Maddox wants the console spin-off from his series to beat his own progress to a feature. |
Not sure if anyone captured the whole listing from the Live Demo Q&A but you'll see in there that I asked about gunner position views and they confirmed that it will be Third-Person view only. So no inside view, sorry!
