Disney can actually stop Lucas further vandalizing his original triology. Look at what he has done: Solo doesn't fire first, adding CGI to 70s movies, the face of young Anakin at the end of episode 6. Come on Disney, get rid of these sick "artistic touches" and re-release the original triology as it used to be.

Concerning future films, I don't really worry or be excited very much. Even under Lucas's hand the prequel triology fails quite miserably to match the epicness of the original one (it did have some shining moments though). It's now the time to start a new Star wars in its new way. Look at 007 series. Everyone hated Daniel Craig as the new Bond, but after 3 films with quite different style from the old flamboyant version, the new series really got its deserved stand in 007 fandom.

Craig sux.
The soundtracks are a terrible(!).
The suits from Tom Ford.
The cars have no masculine gizmos(haven't seen Skyfall as yet)

Who would be your best Bond-actor and why?

Connery - without a doubt.
Although personally I prefer Brosnan.

You ask why?
Did you actually bother to watch the old ones(feel free to skip Lazenby)???

Lazenby was the closest to the character Fleming created, perhaps closer than Connery but Connery had more charisma on film... Brosnan? since when was Bond a yank?? and Moore was just way off track.

i have almost all bond movies (except for Dr.No and Her Majesties secret service) and i have watched them all, many times over, including the currently missing 2. For me the best Bond is Timothy Dalton (read the books and you know why ;) ), in second place comes Craig, then Brosnan, Connery, Lazenby and in last place Moore, he was the worst of all, way too shallow in his portrait of Bond. Bond does what he does out of Patriotism, but he doesn´t like it at all. Remember what Dalton said in "The living Daylights", "If M fires me for it, i´ll thank him for that". Connery, Moore and Lazenby don´t even touch that aspect of the character with a cattle prod. What Craig did near the end of "Casino Royale", quitting his job at MI6, would be unthinkable to connery and co., hence why i rate him in second place. He just continues with his assignment with MI6, so he can get revenge for the love he lost. I have yet to see Skyfall, so that rating isn´t final.

S!

iirc Fleming's Bond did offer up his resignation in Her Majety's Secret Service

Great, I actually care more about the character they've built up over the decades than the books(I will never red one, promised).

Dalton was pretty awesome too, 3rd place imho.
What all 3 have in common(and craig lacks) is: Style.
