If you had paid attention, raaaid, you would have seen that I have WORKED as F16 groundcrew. I never said that I still did. And when, pray tell, have I said that I'm insulting people that gets fired?

As a matter of fact, I actually have called hooligans morons straight to their faces quite a few times. And guess what! Nothing happened apart from that the muppet walked away.

It actually works quite well in practice too. The trick is to tell people directly but not to be cruel about it. And explain why you actually say it. Which is quite possible, at least in Norwegian. And am I a blithering fool? Yep, I am, quite often, and when I am people tell me directly and straight to my face, and give a reason for it.

That's the difference.

Hey Fjordmonkey and Bongodriver

Why dont you leave Raaid alone, bullying a special person on the net just isn't right.

Go look in a mirror to see a sorry individual.
Ibis.

I look in the mirror every day, Ibis, and I never say anything that I wouldn't tell myself in a tenfold worse way. I realize that some people have a lower sensibility on what they can take than others, but I also believe strongly in honesty and plain talk.

If raaaid has a problem with that I respond to him, he can either take it up with the moderators, or he can start thinking before he starts sprouting outright lies about me or try to pin things I HAVEN'T said on me.

I will take responsibility for what I've said, but only if I've actually said it.

I look in the mirror and see someone who isn't gullible enough to believe raaaid's harmless simpleton act, he plays this forum like a fiddle.

I have no idea why people are rude to each other online. I think it's inexcusable. Although I suspect it might be something to do with wanting to feel important.

Some of it is said with humor, some are said with deadly seriousness. I rarely, if ever, sugarcoat things in real life, and I am actually a nicer person online than I am in real life. If people don't like it, it's their own problem. Some like me way I am, some don't. All will have to choose: Take me the way I am, or don't take me at all.

Edit: I can also add that I am a firm believer in treating people like they behave. If you act ok and are nice, I will treat you ok and nice. If you are a blithering fool and an utter idiot, I will treat you as such.

my wife calls me a dumbass all the time

but she says it with love.

hehehehe

The irony of this thread is the illogical nature of using forum posts to try to persuade others about one's real-life persona.

Never argue with your wife. She's right, even when she's wrong :P

Funny?.......if youre like 5 years old maybe, free thinking is great when it leads to truly revolutionary ideas, raaaid is not a free thinker, either way you see him his mind is all about delusion or trolling, 2 very limiting factors, either way I'm not the only one who is getting sick of hearing raaaid tell everyone how wonderfull he thinks he is.....so stop singleing out my posts.
