Luthier and Co really need to consider whether they want someone like "Heinkill" to work on payroll to create content for the sim.

This far exceeds anything shipped with the game.

Ps. I use these missions for coop with Banks_coop script, Brilliant stuff.

Wow this looks amazing, well done sir! Asset to the community. How are fps with all the extra objects?

Fps was fine, I run at high settings with a fairly high end (single gpu though) rig and didn't need to adjust anything. At the beginning he makes recommendations on lowering settings, but I found it was not needed.

The amount of objects stayed fairly consistent from what I could tell so if changes are necessary you should only need to do it once

Fps fine on my machine, even with objects and land battles. One thing I like is the 'big war' feeling. After i went dry on ammunition mission 10 i flew back to Hawkinge via Dover. There was a tank battle which i circled and watched. I got hit by Aaa from Dover. Oops, idiot. Another time, maybe mission 20, i crash landed near Canterbury and sat and watched as 2 Stugs rolled past, then a British Cruiser which hit them from behind. (The things you see when you don't have a Panzerfaust! ) Too cool.

If you 'look under the hood' using FMB you can see land battles scattered over the front, independent of air action but adding to immersion. You could delete these and win some fps I suppose? But so cool after a dogfight to see smoke rising on the horizon, fly over to check it out, see some Brit emplacement under attack by Panzers or flak trucks, or maybe it was hit by 110s, you strafe it, and head home. You think you are safe and some Hurricanes jump you or Wellingtons hit as you land! So much going on...i loved it.

Maybe even I will fly the Raf campaign... Tho it would hurt!

PS

Haha I agree, and boy is it fun to strafe ground targets! I enabled unrealistic ammo as well so that I could extend the missions and help out in other parts of the attack, assuming my objective was met without incident. I found that to be way more fun as a 45-50 minute sortie with 10 or 11 kills may not be realistic, but boy is it fun. :)

Edit: also, from what I could tell, the RAF campaign is the same as Luftwaffe except for the last 5 or 6 missions - aside from the fact that you're on the other side of the engagement, of course.

Man I was trying to hold off for the big patch prior to starting this , but I keep reading reports like this and I just don't think I am going to be able to hold out much longer.
Sounds very exciting!

I am already looking forward to his next project:

Circuses and Rhubarbs? (wot is a rubarb btw?)

I don't care because I will get to fly JG 26 :) and if it is like his Sealion stuff it will be Uber well researched.

Now if he included some Capt Farrell skins, that would be awesome.

How good do the missions work in coop? Did you have to adapt the missions for coop? My squadmates and I have tried to fly coop a few times since release, but it was always a major fail ...

a rhubarb was a type of low level attack on targets of opportunity by small groups of fighters (often just a pair) using cloud cover.
Part of the RAF's 'leaning forward' stance taken up after BOB

And a complete waste of good fighter pilots IMO.
