It wasn't the wires that broke, it was the poxy 1mm thick plastic clip things in the pokey bit. You''ll remember these words, I promise!

So true Dutch, my clip pro broke down to pieces progressively. When I fixed it, another piece broke down. This thing must have been engineered to be made of steel but then someone did a clever value engineering and gave the drawings to a cheap plastic mill. A 0.1 mm plastic swivel with 0.1 plastic pivots cannot last a lot. By the way the normal hat clip works better.

Well in that case I can only recommend you fix the problem with a nice glass of Red wine

i just fell down the stairs. Not to serious, so people please hold back on the well wishes, get well soon cards and flowers. How random is that? Dutch would say its Kama... but I am still laughing at his "pokey bit".

Sometimes the best defense is attack.

I have over the years upgraded from a cheap stick to a good quality stick and throttle. Then it was rudder peddles. That was a big leap forward. 2 years ago I got my hands on a second hand trackir setup, that was probably the best purchase to date. Only problem is the led fingers breaking and needing repair but it just needed gluing.

TIR is a must have now. I can't imagine what I did all those years without it. The rudder pedals are nice, but I could do without them. They sure do help on takeoff and landing, though.

If you get TIR 5 and the Track Clip pro thingie that clips on to your head phones then be very very gentle with it. Mine broke after I put my headset gently on the desk. Lot of other complains about them being fragile.

You know how many times I've heard this? Probably know a dozen people in the last 12 months tell me this. Still I didn't pay attention and mine broke after a week of using it. If you buy one buy a roll of duct tape while you're at it.

Here's what I came up with for my Freetrack setup, you could probably do the same for your track ir, it's made of good ol' fashion wood with some velcro.
