then did third time put old beta in and game run no crash on explod |
Yup! Explosions freeze/crash the game. Aren't betas supposed to be improvements from earlier versions? LOL! Already looking forward to the retail patch, that'll be a hoot.
|
Permanent freeze on explosion is reproducible with Black Death track: scene with hurricane taking off and exploding.

I did like the brief listen to some of the sounds, could tell big difference between open/closed cockpit for instance. Win 64 i7 930@4000 HD5970 2GB @900GPU 1200MEM 11.9 Catalyst. |

Confirm addman, had 3 crashes already, 2 explosion related, one just flying about in a FMB 4 vs 4 dogfight I made. First impression of the colours is frikkin awful.....if these are final then I think I'm going to cry. 'RETURN TO PLANET SHREK'. Confirm E4 radiator bug, will not overheat either. How did they miss that? Glad the reflector sights range is sorted now though. I'll have to find out how to post the crash log thing, will do so in time. |

If you hit R you get manual control back, great find. |
Already had two crashes. The game freezes but sound continues to be played ... No crash dump files are generated and I need to shut down CloD via TaskManager.
|
I had a free flight over France and England in both Spitfire I and the 109 E-3. Shoot some Storage tanks next to industrial building to cause an explosion and had no apparent hiccups or freezes during the explosions in cockpit, or external view.
Once I nosed the A/C into the ground (with both planes) in cockpit (not external) game locked up and had to task manager out and end the launcher process. No crash dump file was produced in either lock up. Whiskey |
Tried lots of tricks and tweaks but this patch is porked.

Radiator (and PP) can't be controlled until turn off the automation (no any info in the vehicle system window. ). The radiator animation does not work, seems to be closed, but the engine don't overheat. - Toggle Automatic Radiator Control - Toggle Propellor Pitch Automation |
