This is what happens when kids grow up with no concept of either consequence or respect and are constantly bombarded with ads for a lifestyle they can never have. It's still inexcusable.
Somebody needs to start a facebook group for the men of this country to stand up to the boys, what that lot need is the kicking of thier lives..
Couple of thousand men per city should do.. These kids need to be put back into place.

Ghettos...? F**k Off in your £90 trainers... dicks.

Having said that, let's hope they burn down Manchester Arndale, the cold dead heart of Manchester would not be missed.

Don't agree with you about the Arndale Winny. Trafford Center yes but not the Ardale. Since the bomb it's a much nicer shopping precinct.

As for getting a group together to confront these idiots I am 100% with you on that. These scum are attacking my city then we should have the right to defend it. These criminals are not Mancunians or even British citizens in my eyes. Performing this kind of anti social damage has revoked their right to live in this country and sponge benefits from our taxes.
I would say deport them but I wouldn't wish them on any other country. Maybe Antarctica though

winny, wookie and gilly. I agree with you guys 100%. These little sh1tz need to taught a HARD lesson. If the Police are over-whelmed then its the right of oneself to protect ones property (including towns and cities). Its very hard to riot loot or pillage with two broken legs.

Some video has surfaced of some police hitting some looters last night in Manchester last night and now the BBC are talking police brutality

This sums up all that's wrong in this country

Edit: here is the video. Cheered me up no end!

I cannot personally see anyone getting behind the BBC on this one.
Also Boris Johnson seems oblivious to the fact that violence sometimes has to be met with violence, I say good on the anti riot gangs.

hello guys

we had the same probs in france 1 or 2 years ago...one poor girl teen was badly burn when those gangs attack with cocktails molotov a city bus.
where go the world?...violence,crisis...sad and bad...
when i hear the intervews of those "breakers",they say : we have nothing,we are poors ,so we become bad and break all ,it is the only way we have for the others people hear us...i say :bullshits!!!!bullshits!!!
i lose my job because of economic crisis,i'm unemployement,or do a jobs i find, often very hard and physical, without compassion or congratulations but i think it is the only way to survive ,give food to kids...AND NOT BREAK EVERYTHING WITHOUT RESPECT...NOT A SOLUTION...TOO EASY AND BAD...

GOOD LUCK MY FRIENDS

Very well said Olife

These scumbags have stirred up a hornets nest over here. Ordinary people have been patrolling the streets and the hate felt by the general public for these hooligans is palpable.

The BBC soon dropped that video I posted. If you read the comments on YouTube nearly everyone said they got away lightly with that mild beating.

As a patriotic Englishman I want to say loud and clear that these scum represent a minority of our country. I have been embarrassed seeing the video of this going around the world. In particular what happened to the Malaysian student who was robbed after having his jaw broken.

We are not all like that here and rest assured we will deal with this scum in short order

I'm still stuck in the 80's!

It's more the tower and the back (Shudehill side).. It's too beige!

(maybe it's because I drive in from the north and it dominates the skyline..)

At least you can avoid the Trafford center :)

Gilly 08-11-2011 02:59 PM

Just seen a report suggesting the cost of damage for Manchester alone is in the region of £200 Million.

Well done you f+@kin idiots, nice way to go. Just the sort of additional costs this country could do without. Hate to think what will now suffer as a result. Only concelation is that we seem to be dealing swiftly with the tossers, our courts have been in session overnight sorting through and sentencing them.

Ah the tower, yes that is grim. It's obscured by the Beetham tower from the south now so I hadnt taken much notice of it recently but when I was younger I hated the look of it.

Gilly, yeah the courts are working overtime to process them all. Personally my idea of processing would be take them out back and putting two in the chest and one in the head

I wouldn't personally waste two in the chest!

As for the arndale I'm a bit like Winny in that most of my memories are from the eighties. Maybe driving in past strangeways didn't help but I was never one for it! Strangely I've mellowed with age and am pretty ambivalent on it now. That said I'd rather walk deansgate and king street than the Trafford centre any day....
