Yes, I love the performance increase as well. But were you able to get rid of the flashing textures? And if so, could you tell us how ?

Maybe hes only using one video card and seen an increase in performance.

ANALYSIS NVIDIA 280.19 b VS 275.33

1 Attachment(s)
I just finished benchmarking the 270.19 beta drivers as well as my 275.33 track THE BLACK DEATH in CLOD. The graph attached shows all except Vidcard Memory usage since it had to be on a much larger scale.

Installation Method:
I simply installed the 280.19B over existing driverset 275.33. I did not uninstall existing driver, reboot, installing new driver, and reboot.

I didn't bother overlaying the graphs as I say ZERO differences on all parameters wherein 5 datapoints were recorded each second for total duration of nearly 900 datapoints.

Thought some of you would enjoy the colorful lines :).

Seen some of you in the RAVENS NEST, hope to you again.

SPEX:
Q9550
GTX570
WIN764
4G RAM

Just noticed you have voice activation/recognition in your setup... Makes great sense...
Is it a stand alone program, windows, or maybe came with your controls?
Does it use much mem, CPU... Whatever... I used to use one along time ago, but I don't even remember it's name...

Thanks in advance... sorry I'm going o/t... :)

"Maybe hes only using one video card and seen an increase in performance."

Yes. Only one.

"I didn't bother overlaying the graphs as I say ZERO differences on all parameters"

I wouldn't be surprised if fps were the same with these and the previous drivers, the difference is in the smoothness, which is definitely pronounced. Anyone else experience this on a single card?

"Yes I tying out the beta drivers, better aa and
Multisampling. No more jagies either."

I'm not sure how much is placebo effect and how much is real, but I also had a thought that AA had been improved. External views showed that the plane was still looking a bit jaggy, but things for some reason seemed to appear nicer in cockpit view. Less distant groiund shimmering perhaps? I will check it out tonight.

It worked very well, but I haven't used it for sometime. I fly mainly on-line. The software is Voice Activated Commands @

ok then, with SLi, setup one card as physics with 1 card as graphics, would this help with this driver?

Hard to tell if any improvement with the new drivers. Running 50-60fps most of the time (vert synch on, Monitor refresh 60Hz). It was pretty smooth before and I only get slight unsmoothness when I scan around with TrackIR which may just be the TIR itself. Notrunning SLi, only 1 GPU.

Specs:
ASUS Sabertooth mobo
i7 950 @ 4GHz
6Gb DDR3 RAM
EVGA GTX570 GPU
Crucial 128Gb SSD SATA III 6Gb/s, 355Mb/215Mb Read/Write
850W PSU
Coolermaster HAF912+ case
Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium
Samsung 22" 226BW @ 1680 x 1050
TrackIR4 hardware / TrackIR5 software
