I wanted a Lab -- or at least any dog that can see over the dash! I got out-voted by wife and daughter. It worked out fine, and we'll be in great shape if there's any unherded (is that a word?) sheep around. :)

One of my favourite Tom Hanks lines came from "A League of Their Own" - "Are you crying? ARE YOU CRYING??!?? There's no crying in baseball!". :-P

- You could have a scene where you flat spin and Riley barks out some recovery instructions to you. Suitably subtitled of course :) (Like Mr Baxter in Anchorman)

- There's a German Shepherd or Rottweiler on the lap of a German pilot doing similar things!
