At the end of the day that’s we all want to do, turn it into something that is not only visually but in every aspect resembles as close to a realistic simulation of that time as is possible,I know the sim has a long way to go and I hope that we get there, with the amazing work of Cpt Farrel, Kristorf, BuzPilot , Jafa and Bigpickle and I’m sure many more equally as talented we can’t go wrong.
From my perspective I’m just glad they decided not to add those coloured hues/de-saturation filters that seems to have been thrust upon us not only by the games industry but also seen in many movies of late, that would have ruined any skinning possibility’s, I just want the colours to work with and that’s what we got. Happy times |

This is a generic skin with no markings added other than the historically correct one :) http://www.mediafire.com/?l93znibm6i32103 https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-W...6-11_00033.jpg https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-O...6-11_00032.jpg Right go get yourself some radar installations:) ***VERY IMPORTANT*** This skin is NOT for use online and WILL get you BANNED if you use it online. DO NOT USE WHILST ON MULTIPLAYER OR WHILST YOU ARE ON STEAM AS YOU WILL POSSIBLY GET BANNED If you do want to use this skin we reccommend disconnecting to you internet connection and then using it, and if you do want to go online with the game please DELETE the skin before you proceed (just as precaution but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) Thanks guys. |

Hi GRAthos,
Well there is a load of confusion over the Steam/Vac anti-cheat system they have in place, I cant get any clarity from either Steam or 1c so I Err on the side of caution, I dont want anyone getting in trouble be it the end user or myself for anyone banned. Personally my own feelings are, if it is a generic skin that was allowed to be edited without a need for unlocking the dds files then I can see how it would detect it as a cheat as it would have to do a pixel by pixel comparison, and that would be impossible, the overheads involved in that alone are unimaginable. It could turn out to be a whole load of b0ll0x, who knows, I just had enough of the nagging from various parties to put disclaimers on my files.. |
A, OK thanks Shado for the explanations, it is a very nice skin, too nice to let it pass... ;)
Thanks! ~S~ |

Well here you are LcSummer and anyone else who wants it for that matter, Illner's 109
No markings needed. Bf 109E-3, “White 2”, 4./JG51 – Ofw. Hans Illner This appears to be the be the aircraft Illner used in mid-August, after his third victory. What is most unique about it, is that Illner had a set of bright red lips holding a cigarette painted on the front of the under-cowl after his first victory. According to Vol. Two Section 2 of the Jagdwaffe series, the cigarette should have the date of Illner’s first kill, 5 July 1940, printed on it, rather than the brand name. The Eagle Strike decal does not have this. Also the Jagdwaffe volume reports the smoke from the cigarette as gray and black. The decal is printed as red and white. This could come down to photo interpretation. As to other markings carried by this aircraft, Illner had the name of his girlfriend, Gretel, painted on the fuselage as well as a pair of dice above the name and a yellow clover below. The aircraft also carried the weeping bird emblem of II./JG 51. At first look, it appears that the legend under the bird is “Gott strafe Bngland”. But, upon closer examination, England is spelled with an “E” not a “B”. http://www.mediafire.com/?dm27pakqorvfwrr https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-_...6-16_00051.jpg https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-T...6-16_00059.jpg Thank you |
Very nice :)
