Nobody has said anything about power supply yet. The fact that his pc currently has only onboard graphics means its probably a store bought PC with a weak PSU.

To the OP, if this is true then you will have to add the cost of a new PSU to the price of any of the graphics cards that have been mentioned here. The ATI 5670 is probably the best you can get without upgrading the PSU, but then that probably isn't a fast enough card for Cliffs.

Uh he said budget card. Likely a gts 450 will be decent but I would wait till all patching and optimization is finished. What is your budget for the card?

It would be around 100$ or slightly above. I'll upgrade it when I have enough money maybe 1 year later.

Thanks All for recommendation :)

Remember:

Buying a card which will not run CoD properly is not going to be a good investment. You are better to wait, save a bit more money, and then buy something which is a better quality. If you buy a card which is not high enough quality, you will be disappointed.

Personally I would not recommend anything less than:

GTX-460, GTX-560ti 2 gig, ATI 6870, ATI 6950 2 gig.

Of these, in my opinion, the two best options are the GTX-560Ti 2 gig, or the ATI 6950 2 gig.

Both of these cards have 2048 mb of VRAAM, something which the game really hogs, and this will deliver extremely good performance for CoD players at higher resolutions.

The 6950 is in my opinion the slightly better choice, being a little cheaper, ($239 vs $279) and easier to overclock.

There is one other option:

If you have a motherboard which is SLI or Crossfire capable, then you could match up your existing video card with another of the same type. Remember however, that SLI and Crossfire are not yet enabled for the game, but are expected in the near future. Luthier has said Crossfire will be enabled within approx. a month, and SLI will arrive sometime after the next Nvidia driver set is released. So if you can wait...

BUT this is only worthwhile if your existing card is at least (a) DX-10 capable, and (b) sufficiently modern to meet the requirements of the game.

For example, if you already have an ATI 5770, a pair of ATI 5770's would run the game extremely well. And this upgrade would only cost you $139.

I'm not planning to play CoD in high settings, maybe hoping for medium or low mediun

Problem is, CoD in low settings does not look much better than IL-2 1946 with all its mods, and is inferior to RISE OF FLIGHT. It's not really worthwhile playing unless you have a decent system in my opinion.

then I have to go for more powerful graphics instead right.

today I saw my power max output is 305Watt and GT430 is only handle this.
Can I still by more powerful graph and will this power handle it?

Most likely not. You system might not even boot. You should get at least a 500 watt name brand PSU. Not all PSU's are created equal. Antec is usually considered a good PSU. They run from 50 -100+ dollars. IF you dont get a good enough power supply either your game will constantly crash for instability or lock ups or other issues. With a 305 watt PSU you might not even be able to boot with a high end card.

Really? Thats interesting. How well does Cliffs run with that card, because thats a very slow old card compared to the performance of the cards people are saying is needed.

Edit: Just saw your thread. That a lot better than I thought. How is it with the cockpit though and closer to the ground?
