what the scoring needs
 

1- Assists. to get nothing for hammering a target and having one of your wingmen take the the kill is silly. I'm pretty sure pilots count assist just like they do kills
2- Friendly fire kills. the pilot killed by friendly fire should not lose a point.
3- some explanation of how the ranking work or the formula the leaderboard works by would be nice

But to address what you guys have been saying I would be lying if if said the score boards were not important to me. However theres only one that i really care about the others are just for fun, I'm competitive what can i say. When i have a bad game i stop playing and go play another game

hey guys, as some of u guys already kno, i had to send my ps3 to sony for repairs last week. Fortunatly, it only took about a week to get it back (thank the guys at Sony, with the holidays n all i really thought this would take much longer, again i am totally amazed at the service they provide)

Anyooo, the first thing i did when loging in BoP was to go have a look at the leaderboard to see how much my ranking went down - i dont usually pay much attention to these but i check em out once in a while just out of curiosity. Well after a full week not playin, im pretty sure my ranking went up!!! - think i was about 9th or 10th in df before i sent the ps3 and i'm now sitting at the 4th or 5th place... pretty weird

So i guess there no point in playing for ur ranking only - since they dont seem to reflect anything relevant - so just have fun playin against friends and enjoy ur flight ;)
